Absolutely mate he should be doing a long stretch behind bars should he be convicted. When I think of Glen McCrory being sacked for one assault, Rodney Marsh sacked for cracking a joke and all the Black Lives Matter/Female Sport equality garbage rammed down throats day after day, it is absurd that Macklin remains on the Sky payroll.
Andy Gray and Richard Keys, two of the best at their jobs, hounded in the media and forced out just because of a couple of jokes that had been leaked. On the other hand, clearly involved in the laundering of drug money with a business partner responsible for, what, scores of killings. But it’s ok, Macklin has “cut ties” with them. Pathetic.
I knew someone else had been sacked but could not remember - yes Keys and Gray were excellent. Sky should have stuck them on Equality & Diversity Training then made them sit next to Bellew on fight nights as a punishment.
It's laughable to think the Macklin wouldn't know what he was getting into. Given the cancel culture, this seems more than enough to get thrown out
I don't think they will get rid of him even though they should . I think it could open a can of worms for all the TV companies. Box nation did mtk shows. Bt did Frampton and conlan. Sky did the gold contract. I think they all got involved somehow. Reports of Adam Smith and Ben Shalom in dubai !!!!!
Considering the ownership of sky is completely different it's kinda irrelevant talking about grey and keys. As you did mention them, sky at that time wanted to make a change and luckily for them they saw an opportunity to move them on while they were both under contract. If sky wanted to keep them they would have. They had a good run but it was time for a change.
Keys with the Did you smash it was fantastic. As he sat there reading his notes and casually asked Jamie Redknapp did you smash it.
“Mind you that’s a stupid question… if you were anywhere near it, you definitely smashed it” Quality.
I was the exact same, saw pictures of him celebrating with a caption about doubters and I thought Jesus that’s got to be one of the best british wins for a while before checking now that he beat a replacement!
Interesting that Probellum have zero shows and zero signings announced for the last 3/4 weeks. I thought they didn’t have links to Kinahan?
