Please tell me how they took the blood money if they were promoted by Matchroom ,Frank Warren etc.
Do the promoter pay the boxer then the boxer pays his coach/ manager / adviser / S+C etc ?

They were managed by MTK and I personally have seen atleast one MTK contract where as an advisor they take 0% on purses below £50k and 5% after. That’s a lot less than the 20% most managers take. They also had money flow through in the form of sponsorships from shell companies. Hence the bum licking

Kinahans obviously a bad man, but in terms of boxers accepting “blood money” don’t know we’re you draw the line. Saudi Arabia beheads dozens of people per year and has killed hundreds of thousands of poor civilians in the Yemen but we would all happily watch usyk v Joshua there and they wouldn’t get to much **** for taking the fight. It’s always been murky. The rumble in the jungle was financed by “blood money”, the worlds a horrible place

It’s not right but boxing has always been corrupt, from Dempsey & Lamotta taking dives, to the mob controlling Sonny Liston then double murderer Don King pulling the strings for years and years. It’s a perfect way for these blokes to launder money and will continue to be so - the gang changes but the principles remain the same.

Tough one where to stand with boxers. They are out there, risking their lives and often not being paid much. If they can get a few more quid dealing with unsavoury characters, you can’t necessarily blame them. You have people on the club circuit, earning **** money and hoping to be picked up by a promoter or being used as an opponent against a well funded athlete (and hoping to get the miracle win), still working full time alongside training and never really doing anything with their career.

If a bloke in the street shakes their hand and congratulates them for not taking blood money, it’s going to mean little when they’re retired from the sport but still having to work full time because they’ve got a mortgage and no income coming in.

    Way it is I suppose.

The boxers have a limited shelf life, and needs to maximise their cash return.

I don't blame them for taking the money, but when the likes of Sunny Edwards are taking the money and preaching appearing to be whiter than white. Then I have an issue.

Bring back torture. Asshats like this can control and run businesses from prison, and have staff and inmates alike in their back pocket.

Get 'em all on a chair. Tie 'em up. Good old fashioned torture. Tickle 'em, prod 'em, punch 'em and then a whole lotta stuff that ain't suitable reading for any children of the forum. These crooks ruin lives on a mass scale, and we have asshats on this forum saying that it ain't none of their business. Well, it's good to know that if some old lady were to be beaten black and blue on the street corner by some hoodlum that you wouldn't do anything. Real stand up citizen - asshat. We are custodians of this planet and ought to do our best not only for ourselves but for the good of the general public. I will be boycotting purchases of anything I realise is related to MTK Global and that includes the Fury Whyte show.

Also, good to know who the drug users are on the board. Thanks for the heads-up. I won't be taking anything you say as serious from now on. You lose all credibility and are a certified asshat.

I’m not sure talking about the situation with a bit of nuance means someone wouldn’t stop an old lady being beaten up on a street corner.

Or being a deadbeat with a hypocritical, inconsistent philosophy, you mean? You can't pick and choose when to apply a philosophy that should be universal.

So if you smoke cannabis your a “deadbeat” who’d laugh as an arl woman was being mugged on a street corner? Will you watch Usyk v Joshua if it’s in Saudi Arabia?

I can understand a lot of people’s objections to Daniel kinahans involvement in boxing, it doesn’t sit right with me either. But as far as “blood money” and “morals” are concerned their are inconsistencies everywhere in boxing and wider society, and not sure I agree with your solution of torturing anyone who has committed seemingly any crime

    Exactly.

It s like people forget this sport was indirectly run by Frankie Carbo in the 40s and 50s.
Read about him-a Mafia made man.
