No not really there was only a very brief period of time in which the fight could have been made as the biggest in the sport. Overeem hadnt fought in Strikeforce or agianst anyone of note in MMA until May 2010 when he destroyed Brett Rogers and for a short period of time Overeem vs Fedor was the most talked about fight in MMA until one month later and Werdum happened. Dellusional Fedor fans pretended that Werdum fight was a fluke and then Bigfoot Silva happened. Fedor vs Couture back in 2007, GSP vs Anderson Silva anytime the last few years, Lesnar vs Fedor for a year or so and the Couture vs Wanderlei fight that looked like it was happening in 2004 are all bigger fights IMO.
