After he is done with Cotto, will he attempt to call Pac at a 150+ weight and come in higher as he did with JMM? Those of you that want the fight, what should be the weight for it? Edit: Unable to edit the title to correct spelling
That's what I've been thinking since the announcement of Cotto vs PBF fighting at 154. Will Floyd stay at that weight and fight other fighters in that weight class or will Floyd call out 147 fighters and fight them at 154? A possibility that PBF might fight Martinez @ a catchweight since Martinez is a middleweight fighter/champion. Either way it should be good for the sport.
Thats what I thought too..that Mayweather may do this to Pacquiao... and Mayweather wants to get acclimated at 154 to have a bigger advantage the what he already has. Probably use it to duck PAC... like fight me at 154 or no fight *****!
He will PREDICTABLY tweet out or make a semblance that he actually wants the fight, and PREDICTABLY, the DUMB *****S will fall for it.
I think people are just trying to invent another reason to hate on Mayweather. No I do not think he will request the fight at 154. If he did and it is a HUGE if, he did then that would be wrong and cowardly. I believe Mayweather will fight (and hopefully beat Cotto) at 154 and come back down to 147 unless he faces Martinez.
Look at it like this, he goes down to 147, he has to fight Pac. He stays at 154 Martinez is gonna challenge him. Two fights that are hazardous to his health

They'll never fight, we've been lead on the greatest round about in Boxing's history. Floyd is chasing Cotto to 154 where Miguel is Champion, if and or when he wins I expect him to vacate the title, and return to 147.
After the Bradley fight Manny will have no choice but to face Mayweather bc he will get another gift decision. To answer the question though, it should be at 147. Floyd is not a 154lb fighter anyways and will fight Cotto weighing 151 or 152 on fight night.
