    now that 80/20 is offered,

floyd would go, “no i want 90/10.. that 10% would be the biggest money he’s had in his career”

and if sergio says yes just so the fight could happen, he’ll say “nah i want 95/5.. you have to consider my health i mean thats important you know”

hahaha, health?! why take up boxing in the first place if youre all to concerned about your health?
shudve gone to play chess or something...

Sergio makes no more than $2M a fight, and has no fanbase. DiBella is an idiot if he thinks Sergio would actually get a percentage against Mayweather(Keep in mind that DiBella is far from an idiot, which is why he threw out this offer. It sounds more than fair, but in actuality, it's way too big of a percentage.) Mayweather would offer him a flat fee of around $4-6M, if that. That's 2 to 3 times Sergio's usual pay.

Exactly, Lou would be happy with 6 or 7 million dollars for his fighter!

    And it would.... by far.

Of course he's gonna try to get every penny he can out of every fight, and that makes him no different from anybody else in this business.

Of course he would. Lou is a smart guy. You always make the initial offer higher than you're looking for. In this case it's a great move, because 20% sounds like a small amount. Of course, 20% would be way more than Sergio has ever made, and more than he would deserve.

I would like to see the fight but only if its at 160 for the legitimate middleweight title. if they fight at 150 then i don't care for it. i think he should go up to 160 for a fight with sergio. that will look great on his resume winning the middleweight championship

Even Mosley didn't get 20% and he was a MUCH bigger name. If this fight happens, Martinez will get a flat fee ~ 5 million.
