if floyd beats mosley, and then pacquiao accepts the tests up to 14 days prior to the bout, then yes the fight should be on. if pacquiao accepted the same tests floyd was willing to take, the fight would of already be on, but the dumb ****s put all the blame on pacquiao because they're too ****ing thick to realise that.

    Lets recap...

People forget that Pacquiao's team, namely Freddie Roach initially said about the blood testing, that they would take any test and it would be no problem... he knows he has a clean fighter. Then later on in the game the fact that the test could be 1 day prior to the fight became an issue, and Arum said the 'problem was Mayweather's insistence on using the Olympic style drug testing(agency) to administer the test', because there was a chance the test could be a day before the fight, which was the concern. Arum stated that if they used an outside agency, that problem would be solved; Mayweather agreed. Once they finally had this outside agency, now instead of the 1 or 2 days Pacquiao needed to recover from a blood test(which Roach has said numerous times on video), they needed a 30 day window. Mayweather MET THEM IN THE MIDDLE(the middle of blood testing up until the fight and 30 days) at a 14 day cutoff and Arum made a fight with Clottey.

NOW, they are saying that there will be no blood testing altogether and we know this will never happen. They didn't have an issue with blood testing ORIGINALLY(it was an ORIGINAL stipulation of the contract which they agreed to), and the fight ultimately didn't fall apart because of blood testing... It fell apart because of a 10 day impasse on a cutoff date. Why would they, instead of just being flexible and negotiating a cutoff date, as that was the only outstanding issue last time, now vehemently refuse to entertain the idea altogether? This is why Manny and his camp look suspect.

This fight is not going to happen without blood testing. If I am Floyd, Pacquiao and his camps SUDDEN reticence to take blood testing would only heighten my suspicions of the possiblity of him using PED's and theres NO WAY blood testing would not be a requirement. If Floyd beats Shane handily, he has all the juice in the situation and Pacquiao/his camp might be forced to do what they don't want to and take those tests.

if pacquiao is on any sort of drugs, then trust me he's not going to take any test that has more chance of catching him out unless he's legally forced to, because he has too much to lose. they can give pacquiao a $100 million to fight mayweather, but that's not going to buy back the respect of his legacy or his ambition in goverment for his country, that alone is priceless to pacquiao.

I think the blood testing demands by Floyd would be lowered to a mutually agreeable ground, not for the purse but for Pac's withdrawal of his Defamation lawsuit.

The purse will be a pesky thorn for the negotiations though. May would insist on the 60-40 should he win against Mosley, while Pac would be adamant on the 50-50.

I agree. That's why I don't think the fight is going to happen. If they had nothing to hide, it would have been Mayweather vs. Pacquiao on March 13th instead of Clottey. Instead though, they will take advantage of the public sentiment against Mayweather and suggest that he is 'scared' to fight them, all in hopes to somehow pressure Mayweather into backing down on his blood testing demands, which we can almost be certain he won't do. This very strategy makes them look more and more suspect.
