Will Floyd beat Cotto as badly as Pacquiao did, or not?

Cotto may have edged a close 1st round, after that it was all Manny Pac. 2 knockdowns, a vicious beating, and a stoppage.

Can Mayweather better this or replicate it, or not? :bbb

I'm pretty sure Mayweather will outclass Cotto more than Pacquiao did.

But he won't beat him up as badly.

The fight will illustrate perfectly the differing styles of the two [Mayweather and Pacquiao]. One's the intelligent boxer, the other's a vicious hurricane.

Pac just embarrassed him...put him down and had him on his bike for the latter portion of the fight trying to survive. I don't think Floyd can repeat that...He can stop him a bit earlier, but it won't be that dramatic.

Floyd will win, but, not "as convincingly" as Pacquiao had. The difference is, Floyd will pick when he wants to win the fight and cruise throughout. If it's a points decision, so be it.

It's just not in Floyd's game to go in leaving himself exposed to all the elements.

I think cottos mind set is completely different this time around. He excorcised the Margarito demon, he has an actual trainer and not his buddy with the mitts. Not weight drained, at a comfortable weight, more so than Mayweather. Cotto most likely will get outclassed but I expect *******s to be happy come May 6th. They need to realize styles make fights. Cotto has never been outclassed hes only been pummeled. When was the last time Mayweather pummeled anyone, gatti?

On a similar note, Cotto is a risky person to face right now. Had Mayweather fought him before the Margarito rematch, Id say hed destroy him. Right now he's facing a confident Cotto, with nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Theres usually a high chance of blood in Pac's fights. Against Floyd he may get confused and bewildered but not brutalized

It will be a different kind of beating. Mayweather will play with Cotto and finish the fight when he wants.

Mayweather will beat Cotto but as badly as Pacqauio did? No. He'll outbox Cotto and win UD.
