After Sergio and Floyd win their respective fights...

I'm sure Floyd-Pac will be revisted first, and it would be nice if Arum/Pacquiao come to their senses this time around, but i'm not sure that's very likely.

So where would that leave Floyd? Not a whole lot of money in other WW fights out there. Berto is a doable fight but Floyd would be a huge favorite and it's just not a big fight at this stage.

I don't expect Floyd to retire after Mosley. I think he came back to fight 5 or 6 times.

Other than Mosley and Pacquiao there isn't much out there in the form of a huge event type of fight for May. This is why i think a Martinez fight is really possible. It's a legit fight and he would not be overmatched size wise. It's a fantastic matchup on paper and a MW title would do wonders for his legacy. It would be anything but a sure bet win, though.

    Anyone else think it's realistic?

Martinez won't survive the Williams- pavlik round robin. So no. No.

Even if he did he wouldn't beat Martinez. Ain't gonna stop Martinez and Martinez will either A) force Floyd to lead or B) beat the **** out of him.

Pac has a better chance of winning a strap at Middle than Floyd because he has something Floyd lacks.......balls :deal

Wow. Who and what the hell do you see in Martinez. He is wack. Just because he gave Williams a good little scrap makes him great. WRONG !!!1 Pavlik is gonna destroy this guy and he wont fight Williams again. He's wack.

Mayweather hopefully is aiming for the mw strap . Strum belt seemingly meaningless would also be one to challenge for.

If Floyd beats Mosley and cant get a Pacquiao fight I'd say he might go for Berto. Unify the titles, and i dont think Berto will give him too much trouble. All depends on Berto's promoter going for it though i guess

martinez is a good fighter but come on, no one is going to beat the crap out of floyd. If floyd fights someone bigger he just counters and pot shot

Huh? Floyd is the draw. Any fight of his is PPV material, certainly the MW title is worthy!

I want Floyd to beat Pac and go on to beat Pavlik, just to see the look of Arums face watching his fighters go down!

Well that remains to be seen. I would think Pavlik probably has a rematch clause so that could pose a problem.

It took an earthquake for fraud to finally fight Sugar Shane i dont even want to think about what apocalyptic event will it take for him to fight for the middleweight title.
