He's 35 years old now, won't be able to engage in even casual sparring for possibly as long as three months, won't be able to get the cardio he's accustomed to getting, or the weight training. The food he's getting in there will most certainly be a few thousand levels below what he's accustomed to consuming (yes, I know he likes to show off eating junk food, but the guy has a personal chef as well), and perhaps most important of all, mentally this stint has to be taking its toll on him .

What do you think? How much damage, if any, does this do to whatever the remainder of his career is?

He will need to spend at least 1 month in recovery to put his weight back up and regular back to his spoiled self since he is not eating at jail. Then spend his regular two months training camp.

He'll fight one more time for sure after getting out of jail. There will be public interest to see how Floyd is after doing some jail time. I can see him retiring after this win if he doesn't perform well.

i think so. and i think if he believes he won't be, he won't get in there and jeopardize his record

Look for his next opponent to be an easy fight where he can get in some much needed rounds.

Floyd jumps in and out of retirement comes back and dominate the tp competiton, please beleave 90 days won't hurt him.

Plus despite what Floyd and his lawyer says he actually doesn't need to train at all, his body is still recovering from the war he was in last month

2 more times and that's it. Of course he won't be the same. He's old by fighter's standards.

Well, he might go the Pacman route and drain a larger opponent back down to 147 or fight someone who was very recently brutally KO'ed as a tuneup. :yep

Yeah, but he also has a style which lends itself well to aging, unlike say Roy's.

He will be okay in time. Just have to wait for the Anal stitches to heal

If anything will get to him, age will. I'm sure he is doing plenty of burpees, pushups, situps, etc. in jail. I'm also certain his books are maxed and he has plenty of food.

In no way is this the same as being at home, but he is not rotting away and subsisting on bread and water.

    Father Time, is undefeated though.

He might come out better than most but he is still certainly past it. By a lot too.

There was some light talk among his team during the Cotto(e) buildup that it's Berto(e) or Sexy Sergio next. Berto(e) isn't relevant as of now. Sexy Sergio already has something lined up, and Floyd wouldn't take on his toughest stylistic match up after doing a few weeks in jail.

He talk to his Unca yesterday and wanted Amir next, but I see Amir getting upset.

It's up to Devon to have an exciting victory in August.

Agreed that Devon is a very likely Candidate.. you don't think he would go after Canelo?
