One fighter. I think both sides are at fault for letting their egos get in the way.

To blame one person when so many people were involved is ignoring the facts in my opinion.

But my point still stands. The past week there has been a load of articles/threads on this same subject mostly started by people who hate Mayweather and say they'd wish he'd just retire. The whole time we have heard nothing from his camp.

Because Williams or Berto/Mosley is MUCh better. Do you remember what you fanboys used to say, "Who has XXXX beat to deserve a shot at Floyd?"

Well, why Cintron now? Maybe because it's a safe fight yet just enough to quit some critics?

Sad thins is, Cintron, if made, will be the best WW Floyd has fought. Yes, that's true and pretty sad. Floyd beating Margarito's leftovers.... imagine that...

Well maybe the fact that Cintron has only been beaten by Marg and possibly with the aid of bricks makes him a better opponenet than people think. Also his power is a threat and aren't critics always saying Floyd doesn't take any risks.

However, at the end of the day I don't want to see this fight but I won't pick apart every opponent as if they are scrubs.

Those other guys are good fights and better than Cintron (though idk about bradley cause ppl will complain about the weight thing) but Cintron has made public statements saying he is willing to fight. Those other guys havent said anything and they should be calling PBF out if they want it cause time is running short and PBF is going to have to sign someone soon if he is going to fight in March. I made a thread about that today, this just reminded me I got to check it.

I aint saying theyre ducking him or any of that nonsense. Im just saying that fans are asking for PBF to face them and as PBF hasnt mentioned their names yet they better step up and make an announcement that they want him in March to get their name out there or it wont happen.

im not talking about the pacman situation they both ****ed that up. and no one in this thread has suggested mayweather should retire so wtf are you talking about ?

the whole point of this thread is that everybody with 2 ****ing eyes should see fraud for wat he is when he fails to fight williams on march 13 and instead picks someone else. someone who will undoubtably be a lesser fighter

Maybe, but that hasn't stopped Cintron from looking less then steller his last few fights. Against lesser opponents as well. And no, Cintron is no scrub. I see Floyd getting a clear win. Not an easy win, but just a clear, concise win. I do believe Cintron wil bother Floyd more then most posters realize.

Who's fault was it he held a belt which essentially kept you from fighting othert op guys? Look at how the WBO held Margarito back. Also you need to remember, those top WW's had other plans. Williams wanted big names despite barely having done anything to warrent that type of fight. He could have defended his belt, gotten more Rink Ranked top ten wins if he tried. Maybe not the very best, but ****....look at his resume at the time. He had one good win...over Margarito. That was seriously it. Not exactly paying one's dues is it?

Come on man. You mean to tell me you want to see Williams face FMJ as his first opponent back to 147?

I don't. It wouldn't be fair to Williams. He needs to make 147 look good. Face some upper level comp THEN fight FMJ.

His team is sorry. That is why he is making so many stumbles now.

 dont try to make those bull**** excuses you dont think williams wouldve easily giving up his wbo title to fight any of the other top welters like cotto, mosley, mayweather so that does'nt mean jack ****.

Well don't you think it would be worth waiting for an announcement before you call somebody out about ducking challenges.

How many times does he have to "fiight someone else first"???? Who else? Shane won't. Cotto flat out refuses. Margarito ran and fought Shane instead (remember the letter Arum sent Goosen about "Don't contact me anymore about Margarito")???

How is he any less worthy of an opponent than anyone else Floyd is considering? Which one is it? He should fight him because he isn't ready, or because he doesn't deserve it yet?

And as far as stumbles.... What stumbles are you talking about?

I swear, he is the most critiqued mother****er in all of boxing. He gets KD'd hard in the 1st ****in round... and yet he shook it off and showed more heart than anyone you can remember in recent fights to beat a tough, underrated opponent in a fight two weight classes above where he is comfortable (Because he was ducked by the MW Champ).

It ain't his fault that one judge got it very wrong. But most objective experts agree that he eeked out a very narrow victory in a very tough fight.

Yeah, It's premature to be saying he is ducking this latest challenge.

But by Wednesday or so, if he hasn't mentioned Paul, I would think it's fair to say he is not interested.
