Floyd is not the smartest.but when it's come to boxing he is genious.Floyd knows he is totally shot, you can't beat fathertime.closing 40,i say Floyd last fight is this saturday. Even if he get offered huge amounts of money.this is it.TBE is leaving the game.never we will see this kind of talent, and never we have seen before. It's like Jesus Christ LoL.don't be too serious hah
his whole career has been based on his 0. if he beats berto (and it would be one of the biggest upsets if he did not) then he will retire and stay that way. i want to say the only thing keeping him from fighting again is going broke. BUT considering he is pushing 40, and about to retire the richest boxer ever, even with his lavish lifestyle he wont be broke for 5 years without bad investments i just cant see a 45 year old mayweather returning to fight
The only way he doesn't return is if he ages overnight and struggles badly with Berto. The fact is the networks will throw money at him for a 50th fight, especially if they can come to terms with the winner of Cotto/Canelo and that 50th fight is for the middleweight title. I can't see how he can refuse and think he specifically negotiated his current contract to end on 49-0 so he could start a bidding war for his 50th fight.
But he's always fought for $$$. What if he can fight Pac a 2nd time and do some easy work and make about $150 mil?
Floyd could bet multiple millions on this and win enough to keep his lifestyle alive for another year! If I had to guess......yes, he fights Pac in rematch Cinco de Mayo wknd. He loves being center of attn.
It's pretty funny some of the things you can bet on online. For instance, they have things like, "who will be Justin Beiber's next girlfriend?" Like if I'm Bieber, I look at the odds and bet on myself on whichever odds are best. It's free money basically because you know the outcome already. Same situation with Floyd. If I know what I'm going to do in 2016, I simply put down a sh*tload of money.
Honestly, you'd have to be stupid to turn that down. Who would!? It's like asking someone if they want to win the lottery again and he's not even taking a risk! There's no such thing as, "Nah, I have enough money already." Anyone will tell you that the more money you get, the more you want.
Exactly. You can never have too much money, especially given Floyd's lavish lifestyle. And it's not like he's a multi-billionaire with 10 billion in the bank. He has a few hundred million in the bank at most. Adding another cool $150 million would help a lot.
There is still quite a bit of money on the table for him. I can't see him walking away. Not yet anyway.
