If Floyd will demand $20 mill as some say, he may as well never fight again.

if he fights again after Hatton it will be against Cott/Mosley winner, there isn't any other fight for him, at least until Williams-cintron.

I agree with you. Either ego or the $$$ will make him fight. But something tells me that he wants nothing to do with the winner of Mosley/Cotto. I'm curious to see how it pans out

If the winner of Mosley/Cotto publicly criticizes Mayweather, then it will probably happen.

I like how people are already accusing Floyd of ducking the winner...

Then if he does fight the winner, people will downplay it and remind everyone that Floyd is the favourite and should win. And of course Floyd will have to face the winner of Williams - Cintron, whom he is ducking at that time...

Things seem to be setting themselves up nicely with all these "elimination" bouts finally happening, which means there won't be crazy speculation about who should fight who. I'd like to see Floyd fight Cotto/Mosely and then Williams/Cintron, but something tells me it's not going to happen. In that case, we might see Cotto/Mosely vs. Williams/Cintron (which is still great).

Has Floyd even acknowledged Cotto, in interviews/post-fights/press-conferences? Besides referring to Cotto as "a little good fighter" when asked, it seems as if Cotto doesn't exist in Floyd's world.

I'd pissed if the winner of Cotto/Mosley fought Margarito. Here's what I think will happen. Mayweather will sit back with his millions after the Hatton fight and let the winner of Cotto/Mosley fight the winner of Kermit/Williams. This will make sense for floyd b/c the winner of that eliminator can truly be his last fight before he retires. If he immediately fights the winner of Cotto/Mosley, if he wins, he would still have to fight the winner of kermit/williams.

Personally, I'd give just about anything for him to fight the winner of Cotto/Mosley. But I'm sure he would prefer to watch these guys have their own eliminator to see who fights eachother.

I hope so. Floyd WILL starch Hatton. I think Mosley is going to TKO Cotto. Best Case scenario is for Hoya to "break a thumb" and stay away from Floyd and Shane....let those two fight. If Cotto wins, look for Hoya to go directly after him for a mega fight. Floyd might be **** out of luck. **** all the "I won't fight a Puerto Rican...", if Cotto beats Mosley, Hoya is going to get him in the ring, make another 40mil and **** him up something nasty. If Hoya is serious about not fighting a Puerto Rican, then Floyd might fight Cotto, and outpoint him pretty decisively. :deal

Either way, Cotto is getting an ass-whooping in the coming year. If it's not Mosley, it's Hoya or Floyd. That boy has a rocky road ahead of him
