Will Floyd Get Credit for a 152 GGG Fight?

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Apocolypse313, Jun 16, 2015.

  1. Come on man, if it WAS agreed on it won't be at 154. Why all you guys have conspiracy theories after a Floyd fight but never before. Well I'm telling you IF it was to happen it will be at 152. It's chess, advantage Mayweather:happy

So you would advise GGG to drain 8 lbs to fight a welterweight rather than go up 8 lbs to fight Ward? Guess that shows what you really think of G...he's nothing without a size and weight advantage

You're so paranoid about people attacking Floyd

I made it up? My thread?

I did not suggest anyone in Floyd's camp suggested 152  Floyd isn't even going to consider a GGG fight. Why the f*ck would he? I doubt Floyd has heard of a single guy GGG has fought. Seriously. Maybe he found out who Daniel Geale is when he was watching Cotto to see if he might want to fight him. GGG is a complete nobody to Floyd. Imagine telling Floyd he'd have to move up to fight a non lineal MW champ who fight on a rival network, has never been on PPV and just did 1.3 million viewers on a non-PPV broadcast when Floyd himself is coming off doing f*cking 4.4 million PPV buys

The fight is NEVER going to happen at 154 or 160 but I was RESPONDING to the purpose of the OP who asked if Floyd should get credit if a GGG fight were to hypothetically take place at 152. I said no. I also said a hypothetical fight at 154 would be worthy of credit.

You need to stop interpreting everything as some slight against Floyd

152 or 154 would ultimately make no difference, the weight drain excuse is already in effect further making it an unattractive fight for mayweather. So I'll agree with you, the fight it's never going to happen, the detractors have already set it up for him to get no credit! When he lose to Floyd they'll say GGG was drained just like Pac is "pass prime" "injured" always an excuse!

152 would be a severe joke, another ***** move by Floyd. Fight him at 160 Floyd then I'll be impressed.

A junior middleweight Canelo is supposedly drained at 152 yet you suggest GGG fighting Floyd at 154! Get real, if you give Floyd no credit for fighting Canelo 2 lbs under 154 just imagine your horror at GGG weighing in 6-8 lbs under 160! Floyd shouldn't even waste his time with this!

Floyd is not interested in a middleweight title, he is a welterweight, are you saying that it'll take someone 20 lbs larger to even have a chance at beating him?

Why are you trying to tell me what I will think? you are craaazy paranoid. Boxing_munter must have really got to you. Go find where I said I give Floyd no credit for the Canelo win. I would give Floyd full credit for fighting at GGG 154 because he said he could make 154.

I'm not even disagreeing with you and you're finding things to argue about

At 152 you will say he is weight drained, at 154 you will say he is weight drained, no difference, same excuse, same hater you was before and after

For the 50th time, what if it is a 154, and the night before GGG (like Walters) can't make the weight?

Walk the talk. very simple. Floyd always wants the most extreme advantages, let him step up and be manly, for once.:nut:yep

Any thread about Floyd fighting GGG at a "drained" weight is designed for one purpose, attracting haters to talk **** about Floyd. Yes I do have a problem with the constant attacks on the best fighter of this era...I'd prefer to see more threads showing respect to Floyd and what he has accomplished rather than childish threads about fighting Middleweights. You do realize Floyd is 38 and retiring in September, his days of fighting opponents 20 lbs bigger are over!

If that's what you want to focus on....Well Maidana was 17 lbs heavier. Canelo was 15, Ortiz was 15. Is 3 lbs the holdup for you? :think
