I'll try to explain this to you one last time.

    I
    DID
    NOT
    MAKE
    THE
    THREAD

And yes he's 38 and in the fight before he last he faced the biggest weight difference he'd ever been up against when he faced Maidana in the rematch.

I'm not suggesting in any way that he should fight GGG at any weight. I don't know how you haven't gotten this through your head yet. Go argue with someone who is actually disagreeing with you instead of making up things and saying I believe them! :patsch

There was a video of someone asking many people in the Mayweather Boxing Club on the idea of the fight. Most of it went like this:

"If Gennady wants to fight Floyd, have him come down to 147!"

"But, Floyd has a title at 154?"

    "No! 147!"

They didn't seem to have much confidence in Floyd going up to fight him. Gotta drain Golovkin to a skeleton to make it a pleasant idea. The fight won't happen.

Isn't GGG under contract with HBO? If so, no way do the networks work together for that.

Either way, Floyd will never get credit. Being 10-20 pounds lighter than his opponent on fight night will always give Floyd an unfair advantage.

Hey I mean no disrespect, generally on this board my responses are interchangeable with just about any poster. So many are Floyd haters I forget who I'm responding to, or I don't even pay attention, lol

At 154 Floyd would beat GGG and you will cry about him being weight drained. So why do you want to see this fight again?

  8. I made the thread but I'm not hating. I'm a Floyd fan. These clowns on here want the fight to happen and if it does and Floyd does his magic then clowns like TJ MAX (H O M O), GGGunbeatable( PHAGGOT), and Golovking(GGG **** must say Harley because he's riding it) will go on a rampage about how weak Gennady looked, Floyd ran, Floyd held and all the other mess they been repeating to each other for some time now.

I don't care enough to want it or not. It won't happen. Desiring something that will never happen isn't fun, so I don't even both myself with it.

I disagree though. Golovkin could do 154 and still win. Anything lower and it gets ridiculous. Then again, the whole concept of Mayweather fighting Golovkin is ridiculous.

At 154 not only would Floyd beat GGG, but he would do it easily, afterwards nothing, waste of time, still no credit, same position, same legacy he had before

Pretty easy to avoid excuses. Fight people at proper weights and at proper times.

When you fight a guy five years past due, whos been almost killed in the ring in the meantime, ya... theres gonna be criticism. Thats life.

This is a bit of a defeatist attitude. What fight do you think he would get more credit for than GGG at 154?

He doed not need credit anymore, his career is over, retired, there are no more names Floyd needs on his resume. GGG might want to focus on Cotto who right now are making so called middleweights look stupid

But he's not retired and he is going to fight again. So who's out there who he would get more credit for?

The only name not GGG I would pay to see Floyd fight is Lara. Unfortunately it probably wont happen, because the only people likely to pay for that fight pretty much post on this, or similar boxing forums.

But I'd give Floyd lots of credit for that win, and I'd buy the fight.

Anyone else.... meh....... might consider buying a Bradley fight. And I consider buying a PPV fight synonymous with credit, because I have no interest in buying fights I know the outcome of beforehand. Other than Floyd-GGG at 160, simply because I don't like Floyd and would enjoy that fight like Romans used to enjoy Gladiator Arenas. Yes, I admit it. No, I don't think Floyd should actually fight GGG especially at 160 (from Floyds perspective)
