No one is going to doubt Leonard's greatness, but there are no Hearns, or Duran's, or Haglers, or even Benitez. However, with his current wins, and add in Hatton, Cotto, and possibly Williams, and I think Floyd surpasses Leonard. Leonard will always be better head to head, Floyd is more talented. Right now Leonard is certainly ahead in terms of resume.

floyd has done something ray didn't do and that was win 5 titles in 5 weight classes while remaining undefeated. All by the age of 30. How old was ray when he won his fourth title.

you go on and on about fighting the best then bring up fighters like duran,hearns, and benitez. All floyd can do is fight the best fighters of his era. and if you think so lowly of floyd and what he has accomplished I can imagine what you think of cotto, and mosley who haven't accomplished nearly as much in their careers as floyd.

now the question for you is what has benitez,duran and hearns accomplished in their careers that can equal to what floyd has done.

Any fighter that gives up his advantage in the ring weather it be speed, boxing skill or punching power to accommodate the less skilled fighter , Makes about as much since ,as throwing away your gun, in a 3 on 1 knife fight and fighting bare handed just to spice thing up, two words "Super Stupid"

SRL did trade cause he wanted to , he traded because he had no choice , given the option he would not elected to trade shots with Hearns, Duran , or marvin.
in his second fight with Duran SRL chose not to trade , because duran was the better inside fighter , so Ray used his hand speed and foot speed to keep duran at distance .
against hearns who was just as fast as SRL with a longer reach , Hearns hight and reach nullified Ray's hand and foot speed , so ray had no choice but to slug.

Same with Hagler , not as fast as SRL but fast enough , with bottomless gas tank , chin of steel , Ray could only hope for a point win , to try for anything else would have been suicide .

That's what I've been trying to tell these people it makes no sense. PBF is the best boxer in the world why stand and trade when you don't need to just to please some playa hating fans on a message board. SRL went 15-1 with Benitez, Duran Twice, and Hagler inclued in 3 years at 147. Went on to fight Hagler, rematch Hearns, and Duran what would equate to 6-8 years from now for Floyd
