Will Floyd Jr. Ever get respect?

No. Being gifted at a sport isn't enough. Look. The majority of fans aren't gifted....at anything. They work hard for the money they shell out for these PPVs. Same as every other sport. The average, hard working sports fan does not want to be made to feel like a sucker. A guy who wakes up at 4am every frigg'n day to go lay brick, or drive a truck, or even sit in an office does not want to see some (30 yr old) kid throwing hundreds at the tv screen, calling himself "Money" anything. It is demeaning. Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, A-Rod, Peyton Manning all make so much, so much more money than Mayweather does and I guaruntee you that the average fan (making $50k) a year feels a closer relation to these guys....because they carry themselves as adults and act with class in public. They are extremely talented and gifted MEN, Mayweather is a talented KID.

 

Floyd gets a lot of respect for his achivements inside the ring but outside it's a whole other story
