The potential problem here for Mayweather is not that he doesn't have the right to postpone the fight with Roger possibly out of the mix.

The real problem is the "Boy Who Cried Wolf" factor. That is, Floyd's already used his one free BS excuse to dodge Pacquiao. If he ducks Pacquiao again, even if it's for a good reason, people are going to be saying "aw, sh*t, this guy is ducking Pacquiao AGAIN?!?"

This is the danger a fighter has when he ducks a possible opponent as Mayweather did Pacquiao. Pretty soon, no one wants to hear any more reasons or excuses, even if they're valid. Including that fighter's fans.

    Just ask David Haye.

Exactly....:smoke Which in part....solidifies why he's undefeated. Which has me believing the "Roger factor" isn't really a reason why the fight shouldn't be made...nor do I think it will be the cause of the fight collapsing.

I don't. He's said multiple times that Roger is one the one that watches tapes and comes up with the strategy.

I think right there proves my point.

    He needs Roger.

Ok, well Pac just told JMM if he wanted the 3rd fight it would have to be at the WW limit. Would that be a "tough one" for Pac? Think about it. Floyd gets bashed for fighting the guy who "beat" pac in many people's eyes at WW, yet Pac tells the same guy if he wants a 3rd fight it needs to be at WW and nobody says ****. :deal

Cause Pac doesn't belong at WW man!

Despite being the **** out of Cotto, he doesn't belong at WW because......

he fought Cotto at 145, that's why he's not a true WW.

Then when you comment on why the fight was at 145, they attack you for it.

Floyd says ROGER watches fight.....but in terms of "strategy" Floyd says his strategy comes in the ring. He never watches tapes of his opponents nor has ever felt the need to come up with a fight strategy in order to win. Roger may have a strategy....but he's not the one fighting....and that is very clear when you hear Roger give Floyd in between round instructions which is 99% of the time....."Keep doing whatcha doin" Floyd doesn't need Roger in my opinion...He may actaully do better wit the one who taught him how to box...his daddy.

I doubt that anyone would really want JMM vs PAC at WW. The fight needs to be at a weight where JMM can be competitive...at his ideal weight. 135....but Manny ain't going that rout and even though JMM would take the fight at 147 for the pay day...he wouldn't win.... I don't think this version of JMM beats Manny at any weight but especially NOT at WW. JMM has shown he has no business fighting above 135.

I hope to god that fight doesn't get made man.

  15. I think this is the perfect opportunity for Floyd to accept the fight. He'll have an excuse when he loses that *****s can latch onto.
