I think what most people are missing is that Floyd isn't really looking to knock fighters out. He is here to make money as efficiently and safely as possible. He has created a persona/ personality that is all catered to this style. He isn't going to lay into all his punches because he has a job to do, and it doesn't suddenly end on September 14th. I really used to hate his mentality, but it really is the smartest way to do business. He knows he has to come out on top, and he has work that still needs to be done, and he has to protect his tools. Simple as that. Floyd's hands ARE fragile as hell. He's been boxing HIS WHOLE LIFE. What always irks me is how seldom people think of the effects boxing has the athletes, and what they have to do to keep winning, and more importantly, keeping their health. What's freaking crazy is he takes this fight with this 170lb + monster who's younger, stronger, naturally bigger, and he he has his age and busted up hands to deal with. That is a ballsy fighter there. I find that interesting...

What is really scary though, Floyd COULD knock the kid out, because anyone can get knocked out, but I don't think Floyd usually works like that, and Canelo's size will make him much more resistant. What is really scary is that there is a possibility that after 6-8 rounds, Canelo gasses, and Floyd beats that kid silly. I hope that Reynoso and De La Hoya will have more common sense than Buddy Mcgirt did at the Mayweather/Gatti fight. Because if Floyds hands can keep up, Floyd will beat the **** out of someone if given the chance. It's just business to him, but he will beat the life right out of that kid if he gasses out.
