Will Floyd Mayweather fight in 2011?

    Yes, another thread about Floyd...

    He proclaims that his fights are like the Superbowl, so once a year is enough. Yet here we are in mid-March and not so much as a peep (other than about his legal issues).

    Will another year go by without the mega-fight with Pacquiao? Or is this the year?

    Maybe not vs. Pac, but I still think he gets in the ring before the calendar year is through.

    Personally, I wish he'd do the whole "Nelson Mandela BDay" in South Africa thing vs. Hlatshwayo. I'd also be cool with him fighting M. Hatton in England. Or Spadafora in some random location where a billionaire throws down for it. Go international. This paragraph is me saying: I don't give a **** who he fights. I just want him to fight. I'd order any of the three fights I just named...

    I said yes because if he doesn't, he probably will not fight again since Pacman will have looked good against Mosley if Mayweather does not fight this year. If Pacman looks bad against Mosley, Floyd will want to fight Pacman.

    Well if he ain't fighting Pac this year and plans to fight Pac next year he best stay busy against someone cause 2 years layoff is too much before fighting someone with Pac's workrate.

    However I heard unsubstantiated rumors he'll fight Pacquiao before the end of the year.

    I fear that he´s not going to fight this year. Which is a real shame because boxing seems to be the absolutely only thing that he´s capable of doing good.
