Will Floyd Mayweather get any credit for beating Marquez?

judging by their most recent fighting weights, jmm is more of a natural superfeather while floyd is about a normal jr. welter. jmm is still small as a lightweight weighing 140 during his most recent fight @135 while floyd weighing at around 148-150 for fights is small for a welter. foyd however doesn't drain himself or cut weight that much so his fighting weight is already at or very near his weight during weigh-ins, thus he fights as a 147-lber.

It's not even about carrying the weight its more about style...Mayweather has changed his style at 147... Hell really Floyd is not a welter... Thats why he is so definsive...We has been the smaller man and weighed less in every fight he has had at welter...

 

They're southpaws and closer to Mayweather's size. This fight is presumably a precursor to a fight with Pacquiao. It'd be more interesting to me to see how Mayweather deals with southpaws than to watch him fight a 130 pound counterpuncher.
