As above, do you guys reckon Mayweather will make a small comeback and try and win a title?

Or do you think it will be just this one-off circus fight against a man that can't box professionally?

It's merely an exhibition. He's not fighting a legit boxer, so I still consider him retired.

I believe so. 50-0 sounds well rounded even though it should be 47-1-1-1. There is always the chance of MayPac2 but that'll be a bigger farce than the first.

it's definitely his last fight, He knows he's getting old and he isn't the same as what he was hence why he chose someone like berto for his 'final' fight and why he's fighting someone who cant box for the big 50-0. If he was 5 years younger he could easily come back and take thurman, ggg or canelo to school again, I personnaly still think he could beat all those guys now but why come back at 40 plus years old for a tough fight when you can box a novice for 100 million and sail off into the sunset at 50-0.

I think this is strictly a business move more than a boxing move. I don't think he has the "itch" to get back in the ring. He knows its an easy pay day. I don't think he'd put his record on the line for the likes of a spence, thurman or even DSG.

Besides, boxing is coming back to life (at least this past yr it has been). I don't think the draw for for floyd is there anymore.

Im sure one of these young gunners (like spence) would love the opportunity to get a chance to fight on of the best though.

Depends of the $$$$ and who will be opponent(Floyd is 40,so it will not be anyone good anymore) so slim to none changes we will see Floyd again.

But hey.oneway you have to respect Floyd for taking zero risk fights.atleast
he is not pulling Martinez etc type of decision ever!!no final money grabs for Floyd.it's all about that 0 in record. There is no money in the world that Floyd would take ,if knows he would maybe lose.

if Floyd comes back it won't be for a title. why would he, there are so many on offer?
it'll be all about the money, and I think Floyd will always be open to a fight here and there if the 100mill mark is in the offing

yes. this fight is not for 50 and 0 its for money. i cant see anyone in the near future generating this type of cash to lure floyd out

also he is weighing up risk v reward, mcgregor is the ultimate fight

    no risk

    HUGE PAYDAY

He can pay his bills, promote his team - even with his lifestyle I think this fiasco sets him up for life. He'll stay retired imo.

Should this fight even be included on his record is my question. I guess former champs have fought worse contenders but this is a very cynical way to get the 50-0. I know money is the main factor of course.

"This" is entertainment , not a boxing match. I am not even hyped about it, I am considering it as something different made just for fun. I would bet some money on Mayweather by DQ. This is not a comeback so for me he is still retired.
