Providing he doesn't stay retired, I don't think he will be able to resist the money and temptation, will he decide to fight PacMan or will he let PacMan fight Hatton and wait for Margo/Mosley (and then eventually fight PacMan if PacMan takes care of Hatton)?
I dont thing there is any chance of Margo or Mosley getting a shot. Possibly Pacman now. I dont think fighting a Pac that has defeated Hatton is anymore impressive than defeating this Pac. Also if Hatton won then there would be no big payday for Floyd.
I think Floyd knows he is a smaller welterweight, so fighting Margarito will not happen, although I think people are overrating Margarito a little now. This always happens, a guy beats another guy like Cotto and then Margarito is this great fighter. Margarito is good but very limited. Too bad we do not have guys like Hearns or Leonard in the division now, guys like Margarito wouldn't be anything more than contenders.
I wish he'd come out to fight Pacman now. Strike while the iron is hot and get it done! I don't see this happening though, not by a long shot.
There's no money in fighting Margarito no matter who he beats ... that guy is just not marketable ... he doesn't have that big of fan base and he doesn't produce big fights ... out of 15 yrs as a pro he had his first PPV fight earlier this year. He doesn't speak a lick of english and unlike JCC ... he doesn't have 100's of thousands of people behind him.
floyd dont got the balls to fight a real welter. he claimed to be the champ of that wieght class so he should fight the champ, not a lightwieght.
I voted for Margo/Mosley winner...but now I think that he will go ahad and fight Manny straight away.
Now that DLH is out of the picture...i dont think he'll come back. He wont come back if he's getting paid less than 20mil. He wont be able to sustain his lifestyle!
