i think he will,i can only see him fighting for another 2 years really,he may have 2 more fights or maybe 3 and he is terrified of losing so i think he will bow out undefeated.

against Pacquiao and Khan I don´t see him lose. Berto and Bradley can bring him more trouble, but he def be the favorite in those too..

Cotto at 154 would be a gimme too. Maybe in 2012 when Williams is the undisputed MW champion and is a big star, that could be the fight. But if i had to bet, i´ll bet on Mayweather too... Things will go wrong if he goes up after that to face the super six winner or Bute... Or if he keeps fighting too long... And eventually that is what is going to happen.. He´ll probably retire in 2016 with 2 or 3 losses. But def as a top 10 P4P all time

And he will be much more respected when he retires with a few big losses, then now.

Despite Floyd say he is listening a bit to what people are saying
but the call must be laud enough. PW is not the one who
calls out the particular names, he is rather moaning in general
about none wanted to fight him ... its not enough to get Floyd's
attention. Do you have in mind any northern name left who might
be calling out Floyd and bring enough money to get his attention?
I guess if Cotto become dominant chmpion at 154 he could be a possibility.

Yes - he's too cautious to fight anyone he might lose to. Thus, once he loses a step or two, he'll retire.

Sometimes, boxers don't realize they have lost a step or two until they're in the middle of the fight against a guy they can't afford to lose a step or two against.

But that's the only way I see him losing, is if he doesn't realize he's lost anything until it's the middle of a fight, against someone (like pacman) he has to be at 100% against. And if it does go down that way, and he still wins, he will retire immediately.

His biggest challenger is a blown up lightweight with suspect defense. After that, it's make a couple of easy mil and get out. Doesn't his career resemble Calzaghe's alot?

I don't see anyone in the 140-154 rang who I think would beat him in the near future.

Depends on when he retires, if he can beat Pac and retire near his prime than yes, but if he decides to fight into his late 30s than no, Alexander, Bradley, and Berto are the future.

they all hang around too long... they get used to a life style of making millions a year.. once they retire that income is reduce considerably and they dont know how to adjust their lifestyle and that's when they come back to make money and get their ass kicked.. not many boxers around know how to invest over 50million dollars

At 130-135, he fought very good opposition and attempted to fight both Cotto and Hatton at 140, At 147 Shane though way over the hill at 39 was still the man, I'm not a mayweather Hugger and have been very critical about his actions outside the ring, BUT he has fought the best and won.

dont think Floyd will have a difficult fight before retiring - partly casue he is just that good and partly cause he wont seek out too many challanges at this stage.

hes up pretty high..5 weight classes..i dont see anything beyond that aside from the 160lb title..he should never leave the 147 lb division for any fight unless its for the mw title

If he fights the likes of Pacquiao, Margarito, Bradley and Cotto - yes.

If he fights the likes of Martinez or Williams - maybe not.
