Like you said, this was AFTER they started negotiating with Clottey, you expect them to turn their backs on that?. If they were disrespected then they will do the same. You're also forgetting that they did wait for an answer only to get nothing but Mayweather insisting on his set of rules, they only came out with different ideas right AFTER(as you said) the negotiations with Clottey were done with.

I hope the fight gets made too and I'm not sure about eating crow and all that, I've been a fan of both since the very start when both weren't considered **** back then and will always be a fan. Just hope for a good exciting clean fight with a fair result.

Pac had a deadline in place for good reason. The upcoming elections. What good is a deadline if you let someone jerk you around AFTER it has passed? Like Scar says, just one more way to show disrespect?

  3. Scar is trolling now? :patsch

He's one of the most sensible posters on this forum. Don't let your adoration for Floyd delude you into believing that he does no wrong.

all manny has to do is agree to the blood test, thats it.no bending anywhere

  5. 1st sentence in the article:

Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum disclosed Wednesday that the secret negotiations between him and Floyd Mayweather’s handlers have ended and the final proposal has been submitted for the American boxer’s review – and approval.

My point is simply that both sides need to shut the **** up and make the fight happen, irrespective of what has happened in the past, instead of the incessant, pointless, posturing. All that does is aggravate the fans and put them off of boxing in general.

, Manny signed on to what was agreed to, Floyd rejected it.

It's the same question again, will Floyd sign?

Hair(follicle) testing is much better and detects steroids for a longer window. Why is Floyd insisting it has to be HIS way which is substandard to begin with? If he really thinks Manny is juicing, then he should make Manny submit to the testing that will show if he has been using in the recent past. Now, if Manny refuses to have a hair plucked now and again.............

Many don't think this is about steroid use for that simple reason.

"Arum said he relayed the 14-day proposal to Pacquiao's camp in the Philippines and was turned down. “We did transmit it to (Pacquiao adviser) Michael Koncz,” Arum said. “We can’t say what went on the mediation."

    From the same article:
Schaefer said. “Anything Bob states (about the mediation) is wrong, and there are absolute lies.”

Also, the way it is worded about the 14 days is ambiguous at best. It could be taken to mean AFTER the deadline.

The mediator disagrees with you. I can't believe people still buy Arum's bull****.

"Both parties participated in the mediation in good faith. Both parties participated in many hours of negotiation, with a number of proposals issued by each side and carefully considered by the parties and their representatives. The Mediator himself did not formulate, recommend or issue a Mediator's Proposal. The Mediator did not make an evaluation or finding that any one of the many proposals considered by the parties was the correct protocol.
Any attempt to characterize the mediation process as an acceptance or rejection by any of the parties of a mediator's or an arbiter's proposal or of any specific proposal is false.
In the end, the parties could not agree on a testing protocol acceptable to all."
