It's only ambiguous if you choose to read it in the densest way possible. Schaefer says that the offer was extended on New Year's day, but that he was not confident that Arum gave the offer to Manny.

Arum counters and says that he provided the offer to Manny and they rejected it.

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/mma/boxing/01/08/pacquiao.clottey/index.html

"Arum, however, says Pacquiao has known about the 14 days since Jan. 1 and said he had an email exchange between DuBoef and Pacquiao's advisor, Michael Koncz, that prove that Pacquiao had received the offer and rejected it. "That offer was rejected a long time ago," said Arum. "It was off the table. They are just trying to get under Manny's skin. It serves no purpose than to aggravate Manny Pacquiao."

  2. A deadline was set. They couldn't come to terms before the deadline. Nobody "walked away".

The walking away came after the deadline without counteroffer had passed.

The re-offer of 14 day no blood test (none during mediation), "I want to whoop his punk ass" came 1 day after the mediation was done and where the Clottey fight was getting finalized.

.... but before the walking away, there was this.

Like you chose to ignore Shaefer said if Arum said it, then it was a lie? :think

  5. The mediator's quote that was recently posted was in direct response to that quote from Arum if I remember correctly. Don't put too much weight behind the words of Uncle Bob.

I'm sticking with facts here...Manny was the one who opted to fight Clottey...It was Manny and his team that ended negotiations when you guys get through.:-(

That is my personal opinion based on the FACT that he is deathly afraid to submit to RANDOM testing.

I don't have any other evidence than what I see, but what I see shows me a man who fears random independent testing.

It may or may not be true. Test and lose like the rest.

He said arum lied specifically about the mayweather side walking away from mediation.

Your theory, if I read it correctly, is that schaefer lied about extending a 14 day offer on jan 1, before mediation, and then arum also lied about receiving that fake offer even though it hurt his creditability since he originally said that the 14 day offer came after mediation?

Because that's a pretty ****ing stupid theory for someone who does not normally appear stupid.

Yeah that ignorance he is posting is close to trolling.

I don't adore FMJ. I just call it like I see it. The dude seems to have a mental block on reality when it comes to Pac's strange behavior and contradictions. Like most *******s.

You have to understand that during that time, Manny didn't have time to wait around.

Pac's team had a deadline, it was made known to the other side, it passed, and they moved on.

I think all the details have been agreed to. I dont think there is any hang up, and they are just waiting for Mayweather to sign it. I think Pac has agreed to all of Mayweathers demands and the fight will be signed soon.

Dawg, when you get throug making excuses or whatever the case may be...Manny was the one who didnt make the fight happen the first time when he fought Clottey...Its not Floyd fault that Manny chose to fight Clottey...You keep on saying this but it still doesnt excuse Manny for passing up on the fight. Hell, even the mediator agreed with Mayweather so your point is moot given that the Mediator called Arum on his bull****.
