That is completely FALSE! Are you trolling now? FMJ sat with the offer that Team Pac walked away from for a few days AFTER Arum came out and said he was walking away. As a matter of fact Arum first LIED and said it wasn't offered. He then said it WAS offered, but he was walking away ANYWAY. What is up with the mental block you guys have? This crap is borderline scary. The fact that so much information is public record and you still spout nonsense like this. Willful ignorance!
You are full of crap! Pac and he team knew the terms going in. FMJ asked for RANDOM blood testing the same as he asked for Mosley. Pac ran when he figured out that he couldn't weasel his way out of it. The same offer Pac is trying to get now was offered BEFORE they pulled out last time. Pac just realized he goofed up with that Clottey fight.
In mediation, both sides are expected to give a little at a time until their difference is negligible. Pac dropped his 30 to 24. ____ ??? I have yet to read what Floyds team did to counter that offer. Again, the 14 day offer reportedly came before the mediation which was rejected then and 1 day after the mediation has ended.
There was a counter. 30 days is one month. Half of one month is... two weeks which is... 14 days! So Mayweather met him right down the middle. Pac as usual was trying to get out of the fight. No. 14 days was offered in response to Pac being busted red handed giving blood on 24/7. Mayweather offered 14 days which was actually generous considering the gave blood 27 days out for Hatton. Pac is a liar and you keep lying too. Birds of a feather flock together.
:rofl You just dont want to admit that Pac ****ed up when he opted to fight Clottey...This people know how to read my man..There were several articles pertaining this subject that was posted on here.
I'm sorry, which part of that was false? That a deadline was set and agreed upon by both parties? That they didn't come to terms within the specified time frame? Pacquiao had a March 13 date that he couldn't budge from because he had to run his campaign in the Philippines afterwards. The negotiations were pushing into January and he needed an opponent, which is why the deadline was instituted on the negotiations. I agree somebody is being willfully ignorant here. It's not me, though.
No. You did not read it correctly. The way the article is written you can take anything away from it you want to. Schaefer said Arum lied about 'everything concerning the negotiations'. Period. So why believe Arum took the offer to Pac? Why believe Schaefer? I don't believe any of them. Both sides are lying to put the best face on this pig. Period. And since I posted to a Pac/May thread, I guess stupidity is implied. I was only trying to debunk the words put in the mediators mouth. They have now been posted.
Team Pac walked away. Lied in the press (Mayweather won't negotiated). Was confronted and smacked down by the mediator. Lied again about a 14 day testing window being offered. Then Arum corrected himself and STILL took the Clottey fight with more than enough time to enter camp for Mayweather. All under the guise of he has "had it" negotiating with Mayweather. What was the deadline then? You can't say it because it never existed. There was no negotiation deadline set other than the fight date. There was a deadline in principal due to the need to enter fight camp. In any case Team Pac broke off negotiations. I guess you are willfully ignorant of that too...
Wrong. http://www.mlive.com/mayweather/index.ssf/2010/01/mayweather-pacquiao_fight_call.html Thursday, January 07, 2010, 12:15 AM But This content is protected and the This content is protected on Wednesday night for the sides to reach agreement. More than three hours before that deadline, This content is protected . ............. Looks like I was wrong, it was both sides that walked away.
I'm not arguing that Arum took the offer to Pacquiao, simply that such an offer was made before the mediation ended (and before it started, in fact). Schaefer states that this is true, and Arum confirms this. Maybe he didn't present it to Pacquiao. Who knows. That doesn't change the fact that the offer was made before mediation and not "after the barn door closed" as Arum put it. The bottom line is that Arum lied and said that the 14 day offer came too late, Schaefer called him a liar and stated that the offer was made January 1, and Arum said "oh, yea, well THAT offer was made, but it was rejected before mediation, so I'm not REALLY a liar".
The 1st 14 day offer came with the charge from GBP that Pac had his blood drawn 14 days before the Hatton fight. Pacquiao rejected the charge and rejected the 14 day offer then.
Good post though, I don't think Mayweather is scared at all, I think it is all mind games and he really wants the fight and it will get signed. About the split, Mayweather does have the better PPV records so I could see why he wants more, 55-45 maybe, but in reality this should be 50-50 because the winner will get something worth a lot more than a minor percentage of money, they will have a great legacy.
I can't believe how most of you fanboys don't see how homosexual you come off defending your "mans". You'll literally waste hours on end defending a man because you got a hard on for him. Seriously...anyone who loves boxing just wants to see this fight happen and wishes that Pacquiao and Mayweather would stop being a couple of bitchboys and stop throwing ****** wrenches in the negotiations. Please...just make the fight happen aleady.
This proves nothing, It is a regurgitation of Bob "I was lying yesterday" Arum. Show me something where it says Richard Scaffaer or Al Haymon or Leonard Ellerbe says the fight is close. until then this is just Bob Arum flapping his gums.
