    Finito had a draw.

Has any other fighter make it past 49-0, won universal recognition as a world champion and retired with a perfect record intact?

Problem is, a lot of people say Marciano fought in the weakest ever era of heavyweights and a lot of people also said his retirement was timed just as guys like Sonny Liston were on the scene.

He doesn't get much credit for 49-0 due to these factors.

I don't think Floyd will get much credit if he ties or breaks the record by fighting Manny, the filipino jeff lacy. That was a one sided fight. He should give Thurman, Matthysse or a someone who desrves a shot.

50-0, in the mgm grand new arena inaugural fight, against his foremost nemesis - with a good injury storyline to play up. This is most likely in may 2016 (after he fights Khan in september)

If no pac fight - a canelo rematch (after he defeats cotto for the lineal MW in sep/oct/nov) at 154.5 is also quite plausible as a big money ppv in mgm.

    I'd buy both these fights.

Yup. Floyd can't resist the legacy enhancement it would give nor the $_$ he'd get for the fight.
