Will Floyd wait for the winner of a Cotto & Williams fight

    if floyd keeps his promise of staying out of the ring for the next 2 years..... that gives enough time for Paul Williams and Miguel Cotto to eventually meet...


    any posibility floyd plans to fight the winner of this fight if it eventually happens and if it doesnt happen he will definitely retire?

    Cotto, or more approriately, Top Rank, isn't likely to want to fight Williams.

    he said he wanted to take a vacation and spend time with his family. He said IF he does fight he wont come back till 2009. He said it after the fight AND before the fight.:good Which i think a good break will be good, so then he can regain the motivation to fight and it would clear a lot of fighters up for the true #1 contender.

    Yep. Long vacation for Floyd. He also said he's bored with boxing.

    actually i have read articles a few weeks ago stating cotto is very interested in a fight with williams, but arum wants him to fight margo.
