At least by his standards of PPV sales that he achieved with HBO?

It wouldn't shock me if the May 4th card doesn't do the numbers that Floyd has become accustomed to at HBO, and if that happens I think Floyd would start blaming Showtime for lack of promotion, thing is that I hope I'm wrong about my gut feeling.

    So what ya think?

Doesn't matter. That's why he got the guaranteed money.

Maybe so, but more PPV sales equals more money for Money no?

Yea, and he probably has a larger percentage of it, than with HBO. There's a reason why the offer was so enticing.

That was more due to choice of opponent. Shane Nosely.

Mayweather vs Guerrero will do 1.3 to 1.4 million PPV buys easily and that's even before you put Canelo Alvarez vs TBA and Adrien "The Problem" Broner vs TBA undercards into the eqaution!

I think it will do big numbers, especially with Canelo on the undercard.

I don't think so for this particular fight. There's the novelty factor of it being Floyd's first performance since jail

    Not these next two fights....

This next card has Canelo/Trout which is a GREAt fight plus the whole Mexican independence thing...Plus Floyd himself will be facing a rags to riches Mexican in Guerrero....

Followed by the big event with Canelo

i dont see his numbers dropping in these two fights.

  14. Hbo are way better at promoting big fights. just saying

This fight will do at least 1.1 or 1.2 million buys. It's Mayweather, he hasn't fought in a year, and he's fighting a guy of Mexican descent on Cinco De Mayo weekend. It's a winning formula.
