    :lol::lol::lol:Which signifies to me that Mayweather wanted a KO......

    The glove size in Mayweather-Marquez did'nt play a role as neither are big punchers......if anything, the 8oz gloves imo favored Marquez, in that aside from punching power, bigger gloves actually favor the physically stronger fighter which is Mayweather.

    You take a smaller fighter and put him in there with bigger gloves, he's going to grow weary that much faster.

    Bigger gloves even for the Marquez fight would have benefited Mayweather imo.

    Put a 10oz gloves to a small guy like Pac and it'll cover his whole arms.:rofl

    Agreed on 8 oz. This isnt an issue. The Venue is the issue.

    The gloves thing depends on the state and apparently it can be changed via the contracts as well.
