Will Frakie Gavin fight Dean Byrne for Irish title

    Now that both fighters are promoted by Frank Warren, will this fight ever happen, i know they also train together, but Dean seems to want a shot at the Irish title and Gavin does not seem to want to vacate, I know Gavin is much more highly regarded but I would give Byrne a decent shot, Opionions!

    I dont really know, though he did have it with him against Mutley

    He is, but he has said in interviews he would be willing to fight him in the past and he really needs to fight a name win or lose soon as his career has been stagnent for the last 18 months/ 2 years and he was well thought of in America and he is not that young at 26/27

    For what its worth, id dont think Gavin and Byrne will b fighing each other anytime soon. Dont they fight out of the same gym? I can imagine them meeting only when both are well up the rankings. maybe for a european title or something.

    I'd say so, he seems to a talented boxer, maybe not as good as Gavin but still capable of winning a European title.

    Not gonner happen, same stable and Gavin needs a bigger named opponenent after the Young Mutley bore, he needs someone to go for him from the off, who has the ability, youth and power and not someone who is past it, who just comes for the pay day.

    would you like to see them fight down the road Anrie, if there was a European title at stake?
