I think when Khan is close to retiring in a few years time 4 or 5 might be sooner you never know in boxing, Frankie Gavin who is currently a hot prospect will probably be a champion so he might get to fight Khan on his way down which would be a great cross roads fight, Even though they are both at the same age Khan will have had alot of mileage on the body clock because of the tough fights and its a great name for Gavin to have on his record. It will be like Chavez -V- DLH or Ali -v- Holmes, It wont be pretty and I think Gavin will put a beating on Khan by that stage but it will clearly pass the torch on to Gavin who can then go onto bigger and bigger fights. Btw im not comparing Gavin or Khan to those great champions, Im just trying to highlight the possibility of a cross roads fight between the two in a few years time. ALso Frank Warren would like to make the match because Gavin is for Warren the new Khan ie a hot prospect and future cash cow. Also Gavin been saying he wants to fight Khan in the future so that makes it more interesting. Your views.
On the way down?? Gavin is older than Khan so Gavin is likely to peak earlier and Khan will probably always be ahead of him... unless Khan suffers some kind of bad injury that keeps him out of the game for a long time or he doesn't live the lifestyle of a professional which I can't see.
I think khan matured a lot before me an lirva I have improved so much from my am days so has he but back then there was not a lot in it
