Will Freddie Roach be in Amir's corner come fight night?

Roach will be there. I can't remember where I heard this but it was, more than likely, during a recent Friday Fight Night on Sky.

 

He could have the incredible hulk in his corner, but he's still getting his arse kicked. One fight since been KO'd in one round and people (again) think he's a world beater. If Willie Limond or whatever his name is wobbles him what do people think Barrea will do? I don't understand how anyone can possibly think he has a chance.

P.S. I'm ready for the insults! I can take it on the chin (unlike sum).

 

I tend to agree with you mate. I think the main reasons people are giving Khan a chance though, are because MAB's best days are behind him and at lower weights. I still think he'll have too much for Amir though and stop him in 7.

As for the thread, I too would like to see a source that says Roach will be in the corner. I remember when Roach 'trained' Alex Arthur for the Gomez fight. Roach was somewhere in the States while his boy took a pasting.

It does not matter Freddie can't be in the ring with Khan to protect that horrible Glass Jaw. Khan needs to retire before he gets seriously hurt his Chin in one of the worst I have ever seen.

 

Hopefully Roach drops Khan after Barrera knocks him out

I will genuinely be surprised if hes at the MAB fight.
