Will Froch do to GGG what he did to Bute?

ggg isn't moving up to smw. hes safety first. the mans 34, traditionall y the tailor end of a career, yet the best he has faced is danny geale. Whilst that is fair resume, and its better than say joe calzaghe at the same age, this is not the resume of a man who moves up to fight a top unifed titlist (which in essence froch is despite the recent stripping).

full respect for G's ko record though.

Golovkin hasn't faced anything close to an elite middleweight, yet people are hyping him up to beat destroy Froch who is the second best super middleweight? Beating up fringe top 10 middleweights in a weak division and moving up to face Froch could well be career suicide.

He'll be hitting an iron chinned top SMW and receiving it back from someone who will hit infinitely harder than anyone he has faced. This will really tell us if GGG is as good as his pedigree would suggest. I think he's going to have to box to win though, Froch wont be intimidated and on the back foot like 95% of the guys he's fought up to now.

Golovkin has two choices here, knockout Froch, or out-box Froch.

Froch has two choices here, get knocked out, or quit.

Golovkin is the more powerful man, and the better boxer - so he gets to write the script.

You know, I think Froch would beat him up pretty good.

    Based on what ?

How many SMW's has Golovkin stopped ?

How many brutal one punch KO's has Golovkin had recently ?

I'd be pretty certain that several of Frochs opponents have one punch KO power at 168, yet Golovkin is totally unproven at the weight.

Do you think Froch would have taken as long to TKO Murray as Golovkin did, because i'm pretty sure Froch would of had him out of there much sooner.

People keep harping on about Golovkins mental toughness, i've never seen him have to grind it out, and it will be interesting to see how tough he is once he realises Froch can take his power and fire back.

Bute thought his trademark liver shot would be enough, he landed clean and Froch just smiled.

Carl will be too big of a hitter and too much of a hurdle for GGG. Actually the end of the line of victories is near for GGG.
