Will Froch have the balls to come to Québec

Typical...a guy with a wrestling avy and a wrestling reference didn't bother to read the OP....we're not talking about Buteatsch

 

Froch is completely comfortable at 168 and would probably lose a bit of his sting at 175,so he has no need to move up.The TS is complaining about people hating Bute yet he questions the courage of Froch in the thread title.
Will Pascal have the balls to come down to 168 and try and take Froch's belt?

 

Nobody can question Froch's heart and balls.

 

That's why you are held in high regard Laffie.You tell it how it is.
If the thread had a better title it may have led to discussion rather than ridicule.

 

i think he's got a gentlemans agreement with Pascal, that one day they will fight for a title at 175. Pascal needs to get hold of a strap and probably wait a year at least, before Froch would consider it.

But yes, if they are both fighting in 2 years time, and Pascal has a strap - I'm sure they will get it on again. 1 - because they have a gentlemans agreement and 2 - froch will want to add to his legacy by becoming multi- weight champion

 

Some of the piece of his jaw shattered by Kessler will land in Quebec, so he'll come to Canada, or at least send Rachel who's the most memorable part of Froch's fights anyway.

 

Froch has improved Pascal has gone backwards since that fight. I do agree it was an amazing fight though, back and forth all the way.

Except that pull he refused to meet Abraham in Germany... and said that he would pull out of the super six if the fight was not renegociated.

Of course Froch has the balls to go to Montreal, or QC for that matter. Why should he though? He's beaten Pascal (and Bute), and holds a belt at 168, where Pascal doesn't currently have one at 175. If Pascal beats Dawson he'd have an argument to get Froch into his home territory, but he currently holds none of the cards. That rematch should be in an american venue if it happens. I know JP is a huge draw in Quebec, as Froch is in the UK, but i just think it should be in one of the more traditional "high profile", and neutral site venues if it is going to be for titles. Catchweight fight? Who cares where it is.

 

Pascal is not on Froch's radar for now. Kessler, Bute because of his contract and Ward are. Then, maybe Groves or Degale will become more interesting than Pascal but who knows? If Pascal regain a belt, the fight could interest him.

Both fighter have improved since their fight. Don't forget that Pascal had been fighting journeymen before Froch. He faced Diaconu, Hopkins and Dawson since. Froch faced even better opposition. It would be a fun fight.

 

Pascal has speed and decent power,problem is that he has no engine,and Froch gets stronger towards the championship rounds.Although Froch is a true SMW,i'm sure he'd still UD Pascal at a catchweight.
Why doesn't Pascal fight Bute ? both are licking there wounds after being embarrassed,Bute and his bumboy followers have been blaming weight issues since the Froch beating,and a fight between the two would generate big bucks in Canada.
As for questioning Frochs balls,
Froch has balls as big as Quebec.

 

No you're talking about a man in the wrong weight class. Froch lives around 168, why would be move to 175? Because some pissy Canadian didn't like the fact Bute got KO'd?

 

If anything it's Froch looking better and better! As for the quite close comment! What are u talking about? Froch took over in the second half to claim a pretty wide decision!

Great fight. Competitive throughout, but a clear winner emerged. Froch will probably fight Kessler, Bute and Ward and then call time on a great career. Can't see the pascal fight happening! Just appreciate the first fight and move on...
