Absolutely no news on the Froch front. Wouldn't surprise me if he didn't bother announcing anything at all now.

Looks like it. Might be taking his time to decide, but he's not getting any younger.

He's earned the right to do whatever he wants. After the wars he's been in I wouldn't begrudge him just walking away from the sport now.

I can't imagine Froch doing anything silenttly. I was watching the Froch v Abraham fight last night and damn his old lady has a big mouth. She has absolutely no class at all. Froch going to have to find some hobbies or something to do in his retirement to get out of the house because he has going to have a hard time dealing with having to listen to that knucklehead wife of his all day.

I've been saying it for months, he's basically retired he just hasn't pulled the trigger and made it official yet. I guess it's a hard thing to do, to just step away from the one thing that has defined you for most of your life. Look at Vitali he's never officially retired he just relinquished his title.

Just like Calzaghe did. Remember how Froch was protesting when Calzaghe quitely pulled out? Now Froch is doing exactly the same and acts like it some god given right. Listen to his rants from back then. He's now doing exactly the same thing he criticizes.

Just like Vitali vs. Lennox by the way. Vitali was complaining Lennox was "hogging the belt for 1 year" before retiring, then when it was his turn he did exactly the same.

If he retires, Froch will retire publicly for all the (admittedly deserved) adulation.

I don't care how good someone looks, after she starts getting on your nerves, she won't look nearly as good. Besides, Froch's wife, to me, is nothing that special with respect to looks anyway.

Most likely. Doesn't seem like there are too many fights out there that interest him anymore.
