Will Fury beat AJ as bad as Calzaghe beat Lacy ?

Does anyone see a Fury win being that one-sided ?

Where do you get that idea from?
First of all, Fury only has a fifth of Galzaghe's punchoutput at best, and if he would let his hands go he probably gets caught a couple of times, so he won't.
If Fury wins, I think it's in a Fury vs old Wlad like stinker, with very low punchstats.

I'm not saying it will happen.
But no one expected Calzaghe to do that to Lacy either. But it happened.

Fury can raise his output but obviously it's all relative. He would never be able to land the volume a 168 Calzaghe landed, but the question is about the level of one-sidedness, rather than the style he adopts.
Most people are picking Fury to win. I'm just wondering how many of them see this as a very bad beating or shut-out type fight.

I feel like the americans didnt think calz would do that to lacy and not to say the british knew but they had seen him go to war with eubank sr. And KOing ppl all the way up to that and then many WBO title defenses (even tho at the time the WBO wasnt considered legit title even when he fought lacy it had just basically became legit but still not official official like now) but WBO belt holders were still legit and he was really supposed to win against lacy a one dimensional but atheltic fighter. Now fury vs AJ i cant see it and im still not sure wtf was in his gloves against wilder. Im not bomb squad fanboy but lets keep it real something was fishy about that ****. He aint doin that to AJ.he could "outbox" him but no way in hell he Calz lacy way

calzaghe was the real deal, lacy wasn't.
AJ and fury are both excellent fighters.
no matter the outcome of Aj-fury, they are both much better fighters than lacy.

Could be. But the most likely scenario is Fury winning a competitive UD. Joshua will let his hands go unlike Wladimir lets be real. Its easier to outbox a gunshy fighter than it would be an agressive fighter. A Canelo vs Lara type scenario if you will

Fury will destroy AJ early, no way he comes out for R4.

Calzaghe threw far more shots than Fury does and landed far more combo`s, AJ is miles motre skille than Lacy was, Fury has been inclose fights v lesser fighters than AJ, even the Wlad fight was nowhere near as one-sided as the Lacy beatdown, Fury simply didn`t throw anywhere near as many shots as Calzaghe did v Lacy.

If Fury raises his output it will leave open to more counters he`s more of a stick and move kind of fighter, the more he stands still the more he gets hit.

Fury never fights like that, Joe was in the pocket the whole time, Fury did that v Wilder and didn`t land anything like the combo`s Joe was landing here and in the pocket v Wllin he ate much more leather than Joe did here, Joe was far better in the pocket and AJ is far better in the pocket than Lacy was.

Im a fury fan but i think AJ sparks him out not like wilder with the clean shot but accumulation of power punches and i still gotta c if his gloves r gonna be wrapped properly this fight

    I'm picking AJ by KO.

I feel like this match up favors him a lot more than it favors Fury.

But he didn't stick and move with Wilder, and still didn't get hit.
    In the rematch.
