He'll fight him. Fury was poor tonight because his mentality was garbage, he NEEDS Peter in his ear 24/7.
He said he wanted the Areeol/Stiverne winner a few days ago....even though the IBF is making Pulev sit around so he can face Fury in a final eliminator.
Fury is an easy fight for pulev. The bulgarian moves to subtlely and would keep the clumsy brit off balance while he lands his clean conters and leads. Arreola and fury would be a good fight but I don't see Fury lasting the distance if Christobal can land on his shaky chin.
Ya USS's movement and forcing Tyson to pressure nullified his workrate and combination punching while exposing his horrible balance, his defense is also wide open when he's coming forward. Pulev's mobility would do the same only Pulev would make him eat jabs endlessly and the occasional right or left hook would probably put him away at some point. Fury also wouldn't be able to manhandle the 250lb Pulev who would be stronger plus Kubrat is a mean **** so trying to fight dirty wouldn't be smart. I have a gif of Pulev blatantly throwing a forearm smash to the back of Oloukun's head while he's holding him down and when they're seperated Pulev just laughs in his face Arreola/Fury would probably be a entertaining brawl, at least in spots, but Chris is more polished, has a solid chin, good combos and legit power. Fury would probably look better against him because Chris would be the one pressuring and Fury could fight off the back foot like the Johnson fight with a tigher defense but Chris would catch up to him, force the action and eventually stop him. If Stiverne somehow wins i could see Fury possibly outboxing him, Stiverne has a mean right hand but a low work rate and is a horrible boxer. A 40 year old Ray Austin was outclassing him for like 10 rounds until Stiverne landed that 1 punch.
I love the way he starts nodding his head too, ya that's me... do something. This content is protected
