Undisputed fight against his most difficult opponent.

The last 3 fights after covid he's looked slower.

    1. It's NOT just his style. He fought an aggressive style in 2020 against Wilder in the 2nd fight and was still agile enough to evade wilder, but in late 2021 in Wilder III, Fury looked noticeably slower, and the excuse that it was due to his daughter being ill and a bad camp is BS because Fury's ass is still fat as ****, and his head movement is still almost not existent.

He could maybe afford to do this against Whyte and Chisora because he could take their punches, and maybe even Wilder because he could trade blows, but that wont work against Usyk where he'll get outlanded.

    2. There's no reason for him to weigh above 255. It's the weight he was against Wilder the first fight, where he was quick as lightning, and training seriously, and he'd still have a 35lb weight advantage.

    3. He'll not be able to push Usyk into a corner as easily as he did Whyte and Chisora, so being 270lbs will not be as useful. Fury will need speed to even catch Usyk, never mind get him in a hold.

    4. I know there's more to agility than just weight, but I think shedding some lbs would be beneficial to his health and fitness.

    5. "Fury uses his fat to his advantage". This wont help him vs Usyk. There's no reason a boxer has to fat as **** to wear somebody down. Being 270lb fatass will not benefit him vs Usyk. He could easily lose some fat and gain muscle, and even at 255lbs he'd still have a big weight advantage over Usyk. His extra fat will also impact his health, agility and fitness as well.

I think Fury will come in around the 250s for Usyk.

I'm not watching another Fury fight unless it's Usyk. I can't take his disgusting body anymore. Watching the fat jiggle is vomit inducing and I'm willing to put myself through it again only for Usyk.

    In shape? Like a bodybuilder??
Nah, Furys shape means nothing, he's a 12 round fighter even with the blubber.
And you NEED to be a 12 round fighter to be at the top, too much on the line to gas out.

Speed being affected, is potentially one thing, but I've not seen his speed dip noticibly one bit in recent fights. I think suggesting Fury has been slower recently is just wishful thinking, each to their own though.

I see Fury being at his absolute zenith vs Usyk, and IMO 255lbs is perfect.

I think he cant look in shape if he tried. He ballooned up to much to not have loose skin.
He will always have that skinny fat Dr eggman type body.

He's just ruined his body by yo-yo'ing in weight up to the 400s and down again multiple times, drugs, alcohol etc.

He will never be chiselled or lean, or even a bulky physique, he'll just be skinnyfat or fat, that's his gypsy genetics. It seems to work. Strong tall European phenotype is slept on

Nah I mean in shape like an athlete. His fat is definitely gonna slow him down and it represents the fact that he doesn't train consistently.

I'm pretty sure Fury is nigh on incapable of being anything other than fat. You'd need to starve the man for weeks to get rid of that spare tire around his waist.

I'm not saying he has to be ripped, he was 256 in the first Wilder fight, he could just get back down to that.

Yeah, he's convinced himself that being fat is his natural type to excuse himself from a proper lifestyle and training system.

The reality is, as much as people dislike Davison, Fury probably looked sharper in that first Wilder fight than in any fight since his comeback. He absolutely did look quick and that is next to Wilder who is fast.

It was downhill from there probably because he couldn't handle the discipline needed to maintain that. So the excuses of 'over training' and 'being weak at that weight' started coming up, along with the comments of his mong father and then the other mong, Sugar Hill.

It's true about his skin though, some of that stuff around his waist is the skin from becoming an obese fatso and doing KFC eating contests with his brother. You have to get it surgically removed when you get that fat and come down again.

    Still, he's too fat.

Paris said he has very flabby testicles and that there are even love handles on those

I still maintain that the CW and WSB Usyk would've been an even bigger nightmare for all these SHW giants. 207-212 lbs is his optimum fighting weight and anything more than that just detracts from him. That CW Level speed and mongoose reflexes would've had them swiping at thin air all night and blowing out of their asses down the stretch

An athlete? (very broad term, so I assumed runner) Then hell no, Fury in the shape of an athlete would lose all his shot power, and would have nothing in the clinch. You'd be taking away some of his biggest assets. We'd be back to boring pitty patty shots, with no meat on them and no finshing power. And I dont think he'd be where he is today like that.
Furys size combined with his mobility, give him an edge over anyone.
I'll start to worry about Furys weight when I see him gas. But at this point, Fury is a very "athletic" heavyweight boxer.

Fury was 254 lbs against Wallin in 2019 (2 lbs lighter than he was in the first Wilder fight in 2018) and still had a lot of loose skin:

Back in 2013 he looked pretty slim at the exact same weight:

    https://m.psecn.photoshelter.com/im...=1000x750/041913-Fury-Cunningham-weigh002.jpg

Fury was 263 lbs against Schwarz, who he didn't regard as any more of a threat than Wallin. So I don't think it was Davison's philosophy that Fury HAD to be in the mid-250's but we can deduce that he thought the high-260's and low-270's was too heavy.

I also don't think that Hill believes that Fury HAS to be in the high 260's or 270's to be most effective, he was 264 lbs against Whyte.

Considering that Fury knew he'd dominate Chisora and it's hard to get up for a trilogy fight with someone who is levels below you, 268 lbs was trimmer than many would have expected. Fury will be more disciplined for Usyk, who he takes much more seriously (regardless of what he says). Fury may come in heavy as he was in the 2nd Wilder fight but it will be strategic rather than a lack of willingness to make sacrifices.

I think Fury could do with losing half a stone from what he was the other day but a stone may be too much, your natural weight is higher at 34 than it is at 24.
