7 of Wilder's opponents have popped dirty before they faced Wilder, the latest being the body snatcher. Fury by next year will be optimum shape and form, they only took the first fight because Fury was inactive and fat and Wilder still lost. Uncle Al wouldn't want to risk Wilder v Fury II next year
Whatever the case, Wilder should absolutely demand full drug testing for both himself and his opponent. The thing is, those that take PED's and have both busted doing so, will do it again. Just look at that addict called Dillian Whyte. Take no chances, boxing is a dangerous sport, you can be killed in the ring. If any fighter, especially at the top level, values their own life, then they will demand testing. No more cheating!
It depends, it seems to be fighters Deontay gets forced in to fighting that get popped and the ones he wants to fight don't.
I wish they would merge all of these idiotic conspiracy threads. No one has been able to explain why Wilder would duck Whyte, Povetkin or anyone else *but* be willing to fight Fury. Not just once but twice. Fury, the best fighter in the division and even following his pedestrian victories post-exile, an obviously worse style matchup for Wilder than these other guys.
Didn't Wilder's brother - Danashquay or whatever his name is - recently get popped for PEDs? If they're mixing in the same circles I'll bet they have the same local friendly pharmacist too.....
Well, “The Nandrolone King” has already served one 2 year ban from UKAD, so it’s definitely a possibility.
Depends if they're using or not. Any rate, vigorous and transparent testing needs to be done to both fighters in the lead up to the fight. Fury has popped dirty before, and Wilder is just shady as f*** so I wouldn't trust him either.
Stiverne popped dirty for DMAA before the Povetkin fight yet the positive test was just brushed under the carpet. Arreola also tested positive in the Kauffman fight but was given the go ahead.
It is really hard to understand why he refused the largest payday with Whyte, and then from "amazing money" , when Wilder rejected DAZN's offer for $ 100 million. And with Fury it completely understandable, Fury wasn't considered as a threat for Wilder, Fury was after a long break, overweight and had no bright fights with bums. P.S. But I don't think Wilder has anything to do with these doping scandals.
