But Fury is a fighting man. He will want to avenge this loss 100%

He claims he's a fighting man.

He retired during his prime to avoid losing a rematch.

He then came back to beat up the fraud champion, ducked the two real fighters to go on the run with his hostage belt fighting a shot gatekeeper and a 0-0 novice... Eventually agreeing to fight the real champ when he thought he'd aged enough.

Fury isn't really a fighting man - he's careerist - everything is calculated and weighed up...
He's not taking big and dangerous challenges for the sake of testing himself like a real fighting man would.

Fury weighed 240 or so pounds earlier in his career . He was still soft then. Fury was never a discipline fighter. If he was dedicate or fought in a era where coming into the ring in poor shape got you called out Fury would be in shape. Lets look at 6'7 guys form the 1990's like Michaal Grant, Jorge Luis Gonzales, Henry Akinwande or even 6'8 guys like Lance Whitaker. None of these guys in their primes were in as poor shape as Fury constantly comes in the ring in.

Another thing is that the rematch won't be for Undisputed. Usyk will be stripped of the IBF title. And even if Fury wins the rematch, its essentially pointless.
Also he took a huge beating. I don't see him rematching Usyk.

Fury's mentality is that he likes an everest to climb. He just hates the come down. I think Fury and Wilder drawing the first fight was one of the best things that could have happened to Fury, still gave him something to train for.

I think he will do the rematch and will be motivated for it.

Especially when the ref, espn, the announcers, and the judges will all be wearing pom pons that say Fury.

    Might opt out the rematch.

The contract will give the winner of the 1st fight the bigger split. He can negotiate a better deal against joshua.

With frank and hearn becoming friendly wouldnt surprise me if thats been mooted at some point.

    Fury is fighting AJ next.

    Usyk is fighting Hrgovic.

    Rematch will be next year.

He's been in and out of camp for 8-9 months with this fight on the horizon. That's tremendous mental and physical pressure. He must relax and blow off some steam. And for him that probably means putting on 20-30 lbs.

What has he done in the past? That's a good prediction of what he will do in the future.

I think we can see more from Fury, if he wants to have his revenge, but he is always so unstable.

Will there be a rematch? Will Fury ever fight again, regardless of opponent? Will Fury blow up and never get under 300 pounds again in his lifetime?

I'm not so sure Fury ever fights again. I see a lot of booze and cocaine in his future.
