Taking another note from the Haye-text book? I can see it happening.

Did you actually say that Fury wants to rate himself alongside Ali? I'm speechless....

    Rational take and probably correct.

But Fury could have been tempted by the money into signing up to the fight, then as the critical hour has approached the pressure has increased, he's got increasingly nervous, he could have lost some faith in his body in sparring, he might not be feeling up to the task and has become tempted to look for a way out.

He's a manic guy so it's not out of the realms of possibility.

I don't know how Usyk can even find the motivation to train properly for that coop dwelling, egg-laying flabby hairless chimp considering how long and hard he's had to work to try and get him to climb into a ring with him and all the sacrifices and concessions he's had to make knowing that the chances of him finding yet another way to wriggle out again are so high.

Imagine the supposed ''Baddest Man on the Planet'' and ''King of the Gypsies'' giving an interview on camera where they openly state that they have zero interest in fighting you even if you hold all three of the other belts and beat your huge rival countryman who is the biggest boxing star in the country and was the second biggest in the world at the time? Just think about that for a second.

Look at his eyes he looks seriously worried

This was going on for three years ago now

And imagine running away from a completely unfair, unreasonable and insulting 70-30 split in your favour in your own homeland where everything will be stacked heavily in your favour from a fighter you hold ridiculous physical advantages over in terms of weight, reach and height?

His own father pulled out but because he's a fighter he made it back in, against all odds.

People actually think Fury wants to fight Usyk lol.

Sure, I wanna see him fight, but it's the same thing over and over again.

Just go away and stop wasting everyone's time.

No I said he wants to join alongside Muhammad Ali as the only two men to have won the ring magazine belt x3

But yes also rank alongside Muhammad Ali as the two best looking HW's of all time.

    Who knows at this point.

Turki is the wild card in all this - he's pulling the money strings, and doubt even Fury would want to get too far on the wrong side there.

Would be hilarious if Fury picks up an actual legitimate injury near to fight night, but is forced into the ring regardless. And then his fake cut opens up during the fight and leads to a stoppage. :risas3:

More likely he comes in fully juiced up with the turn-a-blind-eye ref and paid-up judges on his side. Usyk will still win of course, but he'll have to deal with elbows, headlocks, low blows, excessive grappling and a Fury with his shorts hoiked up to his armpits to prevent Usyk landing any proper bodyshots.

90 days. That's how long they said Fury cut need to full recover.
May 18 is close if its true because for almost end of April Tyson cant even sparing hard.

It looks like he even cant go for proper training camp.

Fury is reach person now. I guess its not end of his life when he will lost 10 milion from 100 quarantee...

I think its very possible that Fury cancel also this date if he cant prepare in best way.

That's how long he needs not how long for the cut to heal. A cut like that will be closed and stitches removed pretty quickly, 2 weeks the stitches will be out and he'll begin camp again in March sparring from April taking lots of precautions.

So, Usyk trained to be on his peak for February 17th, how will he continue training until May the 18th? He will probably be exhausted.

On the other hand, Fury (and Turki) already knew he wouldn't fight on February the 17th and adjusted his training schedule to peak in May.

What we will have on May the 18th is Fury at his peak vs Usyk exhausted.
