Usyk has displayed some vulnerability in the body area in the past - but the Dubois was not an example of same. In the aforementioned fight, Usyk displayed the same vulnerability that everyone has when they’re hit CLEARLY below the belt. At any rate, you can’t strengthen a suspect chin but the body can be more steeled up - I expect that Usyk might pay a bit more attention to that particular area in his prep for Fury. Of course Fury will look to target the body - but as already made clear here, over attention to same will also make Fury himself that much more vulnerable. Upsets often occur when certain variables are mistakenly accepted as a fixed given. Perhaps a perceived given in this match is that the ever moving, less than ideally set to punch, Usyk won’t hurt Fury - at least not before many rounds and accrued punishment. I think Olek knows he has to garner respect from Fury. While still primarily staying on the move, I think he may well set himself that much more often to punch harder. After Dubois landed the low blow, Olek appeared angry and more expressly set to punch thereafter and it wasn’t long before Dubois quit thereafter. That may be a precursor to how Olek might approach Fury. Tbh, by design or not, it was an excellent fight for Olek to lead into his match with Fury. Shake off some cobwebs and pay that bit more attention to punching with greater authority. I’m not saying Olek will completely drop his usual MO - not at all - but I think when opportunities present he will look to truly hurt Fury while also outboxing him. If Fury does have very hairy balls, maybe he should graft a transplant to his head - go for the short and curly ‘do.
