After the undisputed fight if Fury beats Usyk will he drop all the belts apart from the WBC and the Ring? Fury called the IBF a dog **** belt this week and after stripping him after 4 days you can understand it, he said he wont even pay the sanction fees for the IBF so it wont even be on the line for him in the undisputed fight but should he win i think he will also vacate the WBA and WBO as Dubois and Joyce can both the fight for vacant belts. Would he even be undisputed if he didn't win the IBF in the fight with Usyk?
Who cares, as a fan? I can't see how the status of undisputed would make one bit of difference to a fan. As long as the fan gets to see the best in with the best, it doesn't matter to me.
It would be great for the Heavyweight division to have Fury v Usyk as 2 undefeated fighters fighting for all 4 belts.
Yes all 4 belts around the waist of one man....... Don't know where i've heard that before but I like it.
I suppose it dosn't matter in the grand scheme of things for fans like yourself who can see generational talent a mile off.
I find it odd for fans to care. Some fans are too invested in the gossip and "bragging rights" (living vicariously through a boxer) outside of the ring. The best should box the best; let the boxers and suits care about the belts, money and the rest. I was predicting Fury to be a generational talent and the man to dethrone Klitschko long before people like yourself were claiming Price and later Haye would chin Fury. That's not bad for a casual viewer. Meanwhile, boxing hipsters like yourself with 200 banned accounts couldn't see a generational, charismatic talent if they hit them square on the kisser.
Couldn't care less about belts. Anyone with a brain knows who's the man in a division, belts or not. Pacquiao v Hatton wasn't for any of the 4 belts. Tank v Ryan Garcia is one of the biggest in boxing and wouldn't be for a belt.
