Will Fury v Joshua be a trilogy? Are solid chances or not? Which are the most reasonable scenarios in your opinion?

    Very possible

If the second fight is a absolute stinker then nope

If however they leave the public eanting more after that second fight its gonna be discussed at the very least

All whilst Wilder goes suba diving in a swimming pool

Will it? who the f**** know. Can it? Certainly possible, dependent on the outcome of the first fight.

Going be such a beating that the 2nd bout will be delayed and ultimately not happen

AJ will instead fight for vacant belts that Fury is forced to vacate 12-18 months down the line due to classic boxing politics.

AJ will beat some stiff and claim to be a 3x champion and bodybuilding fans will adore him yet again

meanwhile the sleeping giant in Fury waits...waits for a worthy challenger which will not present itself.

Also the first fight is fraught with scandal after the $100 million hosting fee from Dubai is bogus and people fail to get payed. Many lawsuits follow. Same thing that happened with the WWE a few years ago.

The first fight will be a distant memory by the time the second ones happens

Its the second one that will determine if there is a public appetite for a third

If Fury gets robbed in the first fight, Fury will walk away & there will be no Rematch

2 fights is the most that can made of Fury-Joshua, Fury will win every round he doesn't give away

    Then
    • Wilder vs Joshua I
    • Wilder vs Joshua II
    • Wilder vs Joshua III
    • Wilder vs Joshua IV
All Wilder-Joshua fights will be much more interesting because Joshua will be ahead on cards, before Wilder stops him with a single punch, the hope that Joshua can "do it" next time, will keep the rematches coming, which is a perfect terminal-cash-out for Hearn.

Hearn despises traitors, but he will probably add the defector in Joshua corner to provoke Wilder to score an ATG coming from behind Knockout, which helps promote a bigger rematch...

    I don't think so.

I think the early rounds might be fairly competitive but as the fight goes on, the better boxer will take over as he figures out the other guy's game.

Fury will start taking over mid rounds and by the end AJ will just be trying to survive. I think it will be clear cut and pretty obvious that a second fight will go the same way.

That said, if Fury really wants to try out his "kronk style" he might run into something big. and if he does, Joshua will finish him off murderously.

It's Fury's fight to lose imho.

Hate when they start talking about rematches and trilogies before the first fights done. Was similar with wilder v fury...end up just wasting time.

See how the first fight goes....unless its razor close...let them go on to fight other guys. Can always come back to it a couple of fights later down the line.

Well, a binding arbitrator will decide if Fury and Wilder fight next. If he says Fury and Wilder are next, I don't think Fury and Joshua will fight at all.

That's why no Joshua and Fury announcements have been made.

So, can you add a check box for no fights at all?

Can we just worry about the first fight for now? What if it sucks? Are we going to have to sit through two more just because it was predecided there would be a trilogy?

    I'm with ya brother.
Don't know when exactly that trend started. Ironically I feel like Mayweather vs De la Hoya may have got the ball rolling on that one , even though there was never a second fight... Might be wrong about that though.
I generally am not a fan of rematches, unless there was some obvious controversy in the first fight. I don't mind when guys have rematches when it's in between other fights, but I don't need to see the same two guys fight back to back to back.
I think Marquez and Pac did it perfectly, spreading their 4 fights out over an 8 year stretch. It didn't take any luster from any of the fights, and you never got burned out from watching them fight. It was also cool to see them clash at different stages in their careers.

Fury is far too inconsistent and isn’t mentally tough enough to beat AJ twice in a row. He hates having to fight good opponents back to back and won’t put the effort in for two training camps for AJ. He’ll lose at least once to AJ.
