I'm looking forward to it don't get me wrong but heard the ticket prices are high and without the sky hype machine will it capture the public imagination?

Won't sell out a block IMO, think rabbit hole thought that fury was a big ticket seller due to the sales of haye v fury but that in all honesty was because of haye, not so much fury and chisora is a homeless haye in all honesty

Wouldn't be shocked if this gets 'cancelled' and gets moved to the copper box or somewhere smaller in the autumn as this definitely isn't a big arena fight, never mind the stadium fight bollocks

Well they've got till July 12th to sell out so i think they'll get at least 15,000 tickets sold although they might have trouble shifting the last few thousand.

Either way i think it'll be a respectable crowd but obviously nothing in British boxing at the moment can compare to the Froch-Groves rematch which is just one of those freak happenings.

    You think 15k?
They've given themselves a long time to promote it I suppose.

The fight will happen unless one of them gets run over by a bus.

Any fight can be postponed, wouldn't be surprised if the Froch-Groves fight is delayed as both of those feckers will be pushing themselves hard in training camp especially Froch.

    Of cause it'll do that.

Frank re-invented boxing in Manchester and at the M.E.N Arena(new name now) so you can imagine all the contacts and sellers he has there to push the tickets.

Also there's some major wealth in Manchester now and 1000's of people living there with disposable income so they'll buy most of the tickets.

I agree though that the people who made Haye-Fury a sell-out did it for Haye especially because of his public profile, not Fury but some of them will buy tickets for Chisora-Fury out of curiosity.

Only 1,500 turned up for the same fight 3 years ago and they will do well to sell 5,000 tickets for a bread and butter domestic fight with sky high ticket prices.

The public are not thick and the previous fight was very tame after a 'we will smash each other to pieces in the ring' build up.

The fact that it is hidden away from the general public on Boxnation gives the fight no profile.

They would do well to sell 10,000 tickets even if on Sky.

As someone who lives in manc and knows a few fairly well off folk none of the, give a **** about this fight, they did for froch groves and haye fury but chisora is pretty much unknown outside boxing circles and fury isn't that much better known, rabbit hole has screwed this one up bigtime, especially with the pricing structure

Fury has been very unlucky losing big money fights against Price and Haye which would be big ticket sellers.

Del is seen as a game boring plodder and did little in the Haye fight except hit the deck twice.

Well I come from Manchester and spend a lot of time back here and i know loads of people who will be going to this fight, it's not going to be a hot seller but it'll be steady sales and they've got 4 and half months to go.

This fight will do 15,000, i'm not sure if it will sell out but they'll probably do a major push in the last week to make it one.

Where's the UK tv boxing views thread gone?

Shows Fury to be one of, if not the most watched, I can definitely see it selling out.

I'm not convinced, there'll be a few freebies flying about to make it look fuller.
The first fight wasnt a classic but we will see.
