It looks like it will, yes.

There are 3+ months still to go and from clicking in detail on the Eventim seating plan it looks like 75% of the available seats have now sold out.

So it will absolutely do the 11,000 that have initially been made available.

I imagine they will open the 2nd half of the arena up when the undercard is announced.

The timing of it is amazing though, coming after a mega summer of sport (Froch vs Groves II, Mayweather fight & the World Cup) people will be craving another big event and this will fill the big empt gap between those events and the start of the football season in mid August.

Remember after the Olympics people were desperate to keep the buzz going and any sport would do ... Hence the Paralympics being such a success.

I'll be shocked if it isn't a full house and a great event.

I agree by the time comes i think it might sell out but the length of time taken to shift the tickets shows the 'great demand' wasnt there when the rematch was announced

there the seats I got for the froch groves fight, I was about 5 rows from the back of tier 2, the view is poor, however all clouds have a silver lining because when the all the undercards finished me and my mate had a mooch around and found a row of about 5 empty seats right at the front of tier 1:D they would of cost 160 quid.

I think a lot of people are forgetting Frank ****** has been around long enough to know what will sell and what wont, with over half the arena sold out in less than a month I think it will

Both names are well known, should be a sellout, I would be surprised if it were not a sellout. Fury should knock Chisora out, should be a war while it lasts............

Chisora is barely known outside boxing fans, fury a bit more so, neither are on the level of a froch/khan /haye when it comes to profile

Half the arena never went up for sale, that you can get so many floor/ringside seats is an indication of it bombing at the box office (hence the utterly embarrassing table flip a few weeks ago)

As for the promoter, he's put a fair few of his companies in administration over the years so he's hardly ****** Buffett and it's pretty clear he massively overestimated Tyson furys marketability (hence charging comparable prices in the same arena to froch v groves and haye v fury), would have had a chance of selling reasonably well if it was priced similarly to quiggs world title fight this weekend (local lad etc) but the tickets are considerably more here (which he could have done had it been an actual world title fight). And the first fight was in front of something like 2000 people at lower prices and there's no real public desire for a rematch - this has all the makings of making an enormous loss.

and of course there is zero guarantee when the winner gets to fight klitschko.

I still get the feeling that neither fighter wants the fight.

I'm worried about Fury's seemingly enforced inactivity- if he wins does he have to wait for the Wlad fight? If so he could be sitting on the sidelines for a year.

ye the klitchsko fight is purely a gimic to sell this fight, the tickets cost more for this than quigg because only tier 1 is open to that fight, don't understand how only half of it went up for sale if you can can buy in all sections except the ones that have sold out ? there marked in grey on the seating plan, I know the 110 67 and 47 pound seats have sold out and there marked in grey, 70% must easily be sold by now,

Ye its not a massive fight or one that captures the imagination of the casual but the the 2 best british heavyweights fighting each other is defo worth a watch in my eyes, and im sure il have a good night:good

Stated already that I can see this fight postponed and moved to a venue with no more than 5,000 capacity.

Derek Chisora already has a hamstring injury and this could be the excuse.

Only 1,500 at the first fight at Wembley on a good summer's day at Wembley 3 years ago.

The loss of profile with the fight hidden away on Boxnation does not help.

The Cuppa Matchbox arena may be too big for this rematch.

That was the thought at the first fight which turned out to be a stonker with Fury jabbing his way to a safe points victory.

Three years later it will be the same boring fight.

A David Haye type of cut is on the way or a toe injury

I don't know, it surprises me what people will pay to watch this kind of fight. These two fought before and it was no classic. I saw it free on Channel Five so no complaints. It could be a bit better this time around, or it could be worse. I wouldn't actually pay to see it - nevermind what you can buy for £110 - but each to their own.
