People are far too invested in this weird phenomenon of ‘supporting’ a promotion. This is only a recent thing and I think Hearn is partly responsible for this through actively targeting second sport boxing fans.
New song from Queensbury Town FC Fans Your stable is shyte Your stable is shyte Matchroom FC Your stable is shyte His name is Earn He needs to learn Joshua is wooden Chisora's a pudding
It's a ****ing nightmare to get tickets for anything these days, something needs to be done to stop the resellers snapping up tickets in front of genuine buyers... I dont know why I even bother trying to get tickets for anything these days.. what a ball ache it is!
Absolute joke. I only wanted to look out of interest. Clicked the moment the link was posted and was well over 100,000 in the queue. Impossible that ticketmaster and the like don't have a priority line
It's madness. It's the 2nd biggest all British HW fight to be made and people are hoping it bombs, and are celebrating the fact that Whyte won't turn up to do any media duties! Do people enjoy not seeing fights made or something?
Sorry, but it's the biggest. It involves Tyson Fury, who is a bigger star than Lewis or Bruno. He transcends boxing like neither of those ever could.
Can’t believe this sold out!! Fair play to fury. also touts won’t be sitting on phones with shed loads of credit cards like the old days. Stubhub etc will be allocated a chunk prior to tickets going on sale. I know it’s a resale site but it’s probably just stubhub selling them. I’m sure they are a subsidiary of Ticketmaster.
Agree it's bigger. But Bruno transcended boxing, as loads of people knew him that never even liked boxing.
He did, but as I said, not like Fury. And Fury is only at the start of that journey. Bruno played the same "lovable" and docile character over and over until people were bored with the schtick. Fury has more in his locker.
This would always sell well, a fight with Tyson Fury at Wembley. But I feel on Whytes part that this might all go bandaloo, got a funny feeling this fight ain't happening, not that its shrouded in any mystery anyway, if Whyte shows he's getting his ears boxed in Whytes biggest payday and I still wont be suprised if something f***s up here
Never liked boxing at stadium but would have still gone if tickets in lower tier were half reasonable. £200+ is a liberty. Will watch it at home and go watch a few small hall shows instead
Usyk out for a while. Eddie will spin that Whyte vs AJ for an interim belt is bigger for British boxing
