Will Gamboa Be The Next Cuban To Disappoint?

I believe tonite we will see the real Gamboa.
Gamboa is over rated due to a great " Hype " and marketing job.

Solis is gonna beat that ass

 

I know people compare Gamboa to a mini Tyson, he might resemble him on offense, but not in defense, at least not a prime Tyson. Like Douglas, Solis is a fighter with nothing to lose, has had his ups and downs, but like Buster, he is a fundamentally all around very good fighter, better than given credit for, when Solis is on his A game. I think he had to come down in weight to face Gamboa, it might have either a positive or negative effect. But that Solis is the best figher Gamboa has faced to date there is no doubt about it and many here are failing to bring that up. I hope many here don't think this is just another fight because Solis is a guy you don't want to look past him. It should be a good one. To me Solis will be the first real test for the talented Cuban.

Anyone can have a bad night, Lara looked over trained and waiting too much, Solis got his knee blow out for God sake and Despaigne lost against a guy that had better resume than him back in the amateurs, all three while fighting real live boxers, you guys relish that "0" too much, I'll bet you that they will learn more from this than from a first round KO like Lara had in his 4 previous fights.

 

Gamboa wins this one easily IMO.

 

The fact he hasn't face an opponet with a losing record, not even a 500 record means $hit to you, he fought a 19-2 guy with 17 kos in his 5th fight, pardon, 25-1 his 6th was against DeJesus, he already won 2 belts and has Johns running scared, common guys get used to, Cubans are coming some will lose and more will win, stop the hate and enjoy the new blood.

 

I was very disappointed with Solis long before the fight, ballooning to almost 300lbs is not acceptable he has a lot of talent and should look at the whole picture, that is why I'll reserve my opinion until I c it again, and that is not the athletes fault to b labeled as the second coming, what is their fault is believing it and think that just by showing up the opponent will lay on the floor, that is Lara's case, Despaigne fought a better fighter than him, nothing wrong with that, although he could had had done better if instead of doing a King Kong impression he could had use his jab more, every time he did he had success, IMO Lara should and will learn from this, there no easy fights until is over.
