My question is how many quiet rounds could Alvarez get from the judges vs Floyd as opposed to Trout

If Canelo boxes Floyd and makes it a slow paced fight with a low out put of punches can he get a lot of rounds where the 2 dont land much

This is what I believe too. After watching the Mosley fight and other fights where he doesn't decisively win the first 2 rounds you need to overwhelm him and beat him before the second bell. The first two rounds is where he is figuring out all your movements and your strengths and weakness. From there he just times you perfectly, you need to overwhelm him before he can think.

If that fails then you need to use your jab and try to go from there. You can't abandon your jab it's extremely important.

He's only there to collect a paycheck. Canelo is going to get spanked bad.

canelo has a good right hand and jab. he could make it interesting. but, floyd will be floyd. he will pot-shot his way to victory

The Cotto/Mayweather fight was competitive for 12 rounds. You don't have to "try and take him out fast" that thinking is what messes you up.

Glad you guys aren't trainers. :patsch

Because this type of gameplan usually resorts to not having a Plan B, or C.:deal

I don't think Floyd needs to be as active to easily win the rounds that were close in the Trout Canelo fight. He'll be way more accurate and effective when Canelo gets tired.
